Here in Upper Michigan, we’ve had the warmest winter…I think in history. Also, a lack of snow, definitely in comparison to last year where we got hammered. Because of the warm weather, lakes are not covered with ice. Even if there is some ice it’s not strong enough to keep a person, let alone snowmobiles or ice shacks used for fishing. With that being said, this news article shows how bad common sense is lacking and well, stupidity is thriving. Naturally I feel bad that someone lost their life. The Delta County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to two separate ice rescue calls over the weekend on Little Bay de Noc. On Saturday at 6:25 a.m. dispatch received a call that a four-wheeler had gone through the ice and two people were in the water. Both people were able to get themselves out of the water and back to shore where they denied any medical treatment, the sheriff’s office reports. On Sunday at 8:43 p.m. dispatch received a call of multiple people that had gone through the ice on snowmobiles and were in the water. Responders on scene were able to locate the people about a mile off of the Days River. Rescuers have had to go out a few times to get people out of the water. Insanity!!! Quite a few years ago my neighbor had a beautiful Newfoundland. Wonderful temperament.Loved that dog.🥰 Even more years back, out in the ministry I went to a house that I think had like a wrap around deck. Anyway, I knocked on the door and I turned to see this huge black dog coming around the corner. My eyes musta looked like this 😳 because this was my first run-in with a Newfoundland. I left for he car with a smile on my face 🥰

I think the dog is a Newfoundland. Very gentle beautiful dogs.

Here in Upper Michigan it was 50*F today (Thursday). Really strange temperature for this time of years. But… no worries. It’s going back to normal tomorrow. Forecast for tomorrow is: “Much colder. Scattered snow showers. 🥁🥁🥁 Drum roll, please 🥁🥁 High of 19*F

What a cool news article. I’ve visited Las Vegas a number of times. And with the sidewalks always crowded they’ll have many chances to talk to people. I hope they are successful. I remember the Belligio fountains too. I think they played music and the fountains danced with the music. 🤣🤣

Just finished shoveling path to garage. Also blew the driveway. My neighbor came over and helped do the driveway. He moves a lot faster than I do. 😁😁 We got a good8-10 inch’s over night as path and driveway was done yesterday too. 😬 Now that I can move the car out I gotta go get fuel for the blower.

The only issue I find with JWLibrary is that when looking for a morning worship video there’s no way to do a search. Not any easier on Roku. 😬 They recently added or moved videos to the end of the videos and that has moved everything else forward. 😳 We made a list of videos starting at the back (2014) and now still going by that list is hard to find them. Well, at least I’m having trouble. For example: trying to find Br. Let’s talk “Beware of overconfidence”. I found it on the website but not seeing it in JWLibrary

I’ve been taking Melatonin for years. 😬 Doesn’t necessarily stop insomnia but when I do sleep it’s a good sleep. Going to a new doctor next week. Hopefully he’ll be a good one. I’m done with the so called doctors here in town. Useless. A number of sisters feel the same way.
