  1. I can’t stand MSN or CNN constantly spewing political garbage. I go to a friend’s house and groan when it’s on. They keep repeating and repeating junk I don’t need to hear. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
  2. Leaving Thursday morning for Green Bay Wisconsin for our convention.

I have to pack around Sophie because she’s finally putting 2 and 2 together. She’d either be scared I’m leaving her or go happily spastic thinking she’s coming with me right that second.

which means at the moment I’m really behind. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

So, early tomorrow morning I’m bringing her to Ganna’s (grandma’s) so she can play with her sissies.

She’ll pout a bit but the other 2 will keep her busy running in and out barking.

    Poisonous Plants Article

Wow! Cashews are related to these itchy plants. BTW, cashews are related. Cashews are another urushiol-harboring plant in the Anacardiaceae family. Yes, delicious snack-tastic cashews were once scary, toxin-coated itch bags. The nut (well, drupe technically) is housed in a double shell, and it is in the shell itself that urushiol is found. When cashews are processed, their shells are removed and any lingering poison is carefully cooked from the nut (even “raw” cashews are steamed before they hit the market). This explains why cashews are so under-represented in bowls of unshelled nuts waiting to be opened with a festive nutcracker. Cracking a walnut is one thing, but unleashing cashews requires protective clothing. 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
  4. I took Sophie (my little 4 legged companion) out for just a short ride in my truck this afternoon. Just to relax and enjoy the beautiful day. It’s been a long week of road trips back and forth bring my spiritual mom up to see her hubby at the hospital and than rest home. Anyway, when Sophie and I got back home an envelope fell out of the door. 😳😳😳😳😳😳 When I opened it up there was cash inside. 😳😳😳😳😳😳 I read it as $20, but my eyes deceived me. 😳😳😳😳😳 it was a $50 bill!!! The card was not signed, the friend just signed it brother & sister. I’m thinking wait just a minute. It’s a week before the Convention. They could use this cash 💰. How loving. The card said for helping others, etc, etc. Well, I feel this is what Jehovah wants us to do. This is what we are receiving counsel for in this week’s Watchtower study. Unfortunately, I think I recognize the sister’s handwriting. So since they seem to want to remain anonymous I will respect their wishes. I am grateful to these dear friends as I pumped a lot of gas ⛽️ this week. But again I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being with the friends.
