Missy, I thought the fear of house cats was isolated and uncommon but I'm learning it's more common that I ever thought. One of our CO wives had a horrible case of fear. My BFF, who was the one studied with me, is traumatized by any cat she see's, she will climb up on your shoulders if there isn't anywhere else to go- and she's over 6 ft tall! She can't even say the word "cat" without shuddering. I had a hard time understanding this fear until I was attacked by a parrot. Now when I see one in a home I immediately  turn and walk away, even in mid sentence. I want to run but force myself to pretend I'm not as disturbed as I really am!

Cheryl I too was attacked by a parrot, one of those big grey ones. It put a hole in the back of my ear. We were staying with friends before coming to Oklahoma and the parrot was just walking around on the counter and I was sitting on a bar stool and next thing I know it just flew up and bit me. And I am an animal lover and most animals love me, I was so offended and it hurt terribly too. haha

I had this fear of cats since early childhood, my mother couldn't understand where the fear came from and neither do I. Will not go in anybody home that has one, they seen to know you are scared of them and will come up to you.

One day out in service we were at a door and a cat came out of nowhere, I just screamed my head off. The cat just laid on the ground and kept rolling over and over, I just kept screaming like a fool. You would have thought I was being mugged. The sister with me, just went over to the cat and just started petting the cat because it was friendly, I was able to get away. Friendly pet are the worst.  Yes, can't wait for the new system.

We have a sister who is terrified of cats my poor little cat just LOVES people so when this sister comes she is banished to the back room, door closed tight! Once I let her out by mistake and she immediately ran to the sister! She stood up stiff as a board........ with me in hot pursuit to corral her ( cat not sister) . Phew ! Stressful !

See....that's what I'm talking about  they always get out.  No offense to house cat lovers  :)  I'm sure in the new system I will like them as well.

The one that corralled me was a big white one, belonged to a sister. I am an animal lover and animals love me too, especially horses and dogs. I went to Sis Zella's house to get her for service and her bird was out of his cage, wandering. He saw me, made a bee line to me and had me cornered on top of the couch as she rounded him up and put him back in his cage. He was so mad at being put back in the cage I had to leave the house. So my conclusion is we are ok with either birds or animals, but not both. Isch, just thinking about it makes me shudder. Love birds, hate domestic birds.

Kindred souls Deenna!

Unfortunately it cannot be real.....

The huge torrent tumbling off the top of a mountain can only exist in someone's imagination. And if they're imagining it to be 'waters of life' then I'd suggest the turmoil of the water isn't in keeping with the thought.

If, however, the picture is supposed to represent the power of water, its destructive forces, and we ignore the source being a mountain top, then it's achieved its goal.
