Gravity

I've not been to the cinema for ages but went to see Gravity in 3D at the nearest IMAX.

 

What a visual treat.  It's a beautifully shot film with the most realistic impressions of being in space and viewing the earth I have ever seen.

 

Was anyone else super impressed?

When I was a kid, before IMAX came out there was a supersized Cinema in Sydney,

we (My Family) & I say a film About the OutBack Of Australia. It felt real like you were actually flying in a chopper. 
They flew over the Kimberlies, 12 Apostles, Katoomba (the Jamison Valley) with breath taking views, 

This show seemed so real there was a scene that made you think you were going to crash a Semi_Trailer..lols.

 

I would like to see Gravity. The school Holidays will be here soon.

this is a film i definately wanted to see in 3d... many reviews have said this is what 3d was made for. lets hope i get the time

Saw it in 3D and loved it! Spectacular visual imagery. Definitely a movie to watch on the BIG screen. Reminded me of how small we are and how special this spec of dust we live on really is.

Unfortunately, that movie is no longer being shown at any of the IMAX theaters near here.

We saw it in 3-D on a big screen. It was enjoyable even tho they gave us free passes for another show because the sound was messed up. That was sort of irritating. But the visual effects were wonderful. It helped that we saw an interview of the father and son who directed it. I think it should have been titaled, "Lost in Space". I know. Title already taken. Worth the effort to see it though.
