Warning, JW.ORG on Facebook

I got this email from a sister who runs a site for sisters. It is timely for all of us. Apostates will try anything to try and ensnare us.

 

 

Dear Sisters,

Some of you may be aware that there is a JW.org on Facebook and think this is from the Faithful Slave because it looks identical to the Society's site on the internet.  

 

Well, NOT SO!

 

I became suspicious because the Faithful Slave has never used Facebook before.  So Today Dec 6, 2013, I called the Legal Department at Patterson New York and was told this is a worldly site NOT APPROVED by the Faithful Slave and the Faithful Slave is working hard at having it removed as they are aware of how easy apostates could use it to slip in their teachings.

 

I told them about my small group for sisters with depression and they asked me to please warn you and any others to stay away from that site on Facebook.

Is this site actually ran by apostates or are the brothers just worried an apostate might weasel their materials into via posts, etc.? Gotta be careful no matter what site you're on sadly

I got an email stating this info also. This is the additional info I got from a brother. Nomen Nescio sounds familiar to me, I wonder where I heard it?

My originally trying to search it's owner it used to say "run by pioneers in England" but not having a Facebook account I can't dwell deeper. (The google+ account says "Worcester, MA" ) Had it have been a website, I could have found out at least where it was registered and to whom and then informed Brooklyn.
 
It is run by someone calling himself John Doe. It is almost the same as using a pseudonym like Nomen Nescio. (=Latin= means=

I believe "Norman Nesco" is another alias for Michael Krewson, the owner of "JW Archives" and several other websites that publish confidential letters to the elders online. Many of us believe from his actions that he is apostate and we avoid ALL of his websites.

Hmmm. Learning all the time. Why do people make it so hard to lead a mild and dignified life? And, clean, spiritually?

I use to use jw archives but found it odd so stop visiting it I don't use Facebook can't stand it

yes there is also one called jwdotorg on FB with only 2 members !

The official jw.org site does use RSS Feeds - gonna research the twitter feed as I use that....  Lol

 

In this day and time one can never be too careful with sites.

I left it once and then returned... but feel the need to leave again, it just takes up too much precious time !!
