One girl told a detective that she sees Slender Man in her dreams. She said he watches her and can read her mind and teleport.

I just saw this story on the news and it's plain sick!  Demented children, the warnings that Jehovah provides about the Internet and those websites.  Now most kids have tablets, and pads, they can download just about anything without any of their parents checking on them.    Blew my mind, they're just kids, 12 years old, now charged as adults.  So many evil things going on worldwide, in India, oh my goodness, those little girls raped by gangs of men and then hung, mutilated, children are being slaughtered as worst as adults slaughtering each other.  Satan and his demons running amok, worse then a roaring lion! And people who are supposed to be intelligent can't see the true culprit, the DEVIL himself and his hordes.   The people have certainly veiled themselves beyond any hope.   Let that day of Jehovah come soon!

I read this story in part but I found the details so demonic-sounding and disturbing that I couldn't finish the article. I read just enough that it gave me the creeps. Not saying we shouldn't read it, but it was too much for me personally.

 

And yes, some people (the ones living in a bubble) will still tell us that "all's right with the world".

I don't care what anyone says. This world is worse than sodom and gomorrah. No question about it. Even back them kids didn't kill kids. This world needs to be flushed down the toilet like the feces it is. Just disgusting.

It's interesting there are certain websites like the one mentioned in the article, Wikipedia, deviantart that have various topics some good and some bad. they were 12 and I find it interesting most people commenting on that news article are blaming what these children read for their actions. I agree media can and spiritism can affect people but I blaming a scary myth or legend for their actions is as absurd as a murderer blaming their actions on being told there are monsters under their bed... I really wish parents would monitor their children more closely and that websites would monitor what people are allowed to post on them... I believe these girls had mental issues before reading some scary story online due to their seeing and hearing things... O.o

Oh no. I wasn't offended at all. I was just describing my gut reaction when I saw this article last night. It's the kind of reaction I have when I throw my hand over my face when the television "previews" some horror movie and I can't get to the remote control fast enough.   I don't see anything wrong at all with what you posted so no need for you to apologize.

No blame on you Mikey, you we're just posting the news. It is first of all Satan and his demons that are to blame. And then of course busy parents who just don't get that they need to monitor their children. We know the answer, but we have to wait on Jehovah to fix it.

I don't like reading the news for this very reason. But we have to live here so we also need to be informed.

I haven't read more than the title and snipits of this news story kinda don't want to know.

As a family We have had many discussions about ways the Demons try to reach us thru TV , Internet, and books. And we used the illustration of opening a window or a door for the demons to come in. So if the tv is on and a show or commercial comes on that features demonism we are all rushing to close the window before the demons can come into our home.

Debbie we do the same thing, my kids cover their face and grab for the remote...sad I remember tv commercials being cute but times sure are different. I'm shocked at the news every day now, it used to be once in a while you would hear extraordinary bad news, but now we are sure we are in the final days with satan and demons making their last efforts to sway any they can. The article is a good reminder that when the society gives you suggestions to be active in knowing exactly what your children are doing on the internet we can see they are safeguarding us.

I just googled slenderman  but did not open any links. THere were at least 5 other articles saying children attacked someone in the same type of slenderman way. One was a mother who said her child attacked her in the same way the 2 girls did.

For what it's worth, "Slender Man" was made up on a internet forum as part of a photoshop contest, it became a meme & went viral.  Unfortunately the silly girls in the news story took it seriously & acted on it.

Some times I do a search to see the results and snippets of the results are shown in Google, but you don't actually have to go to each article - often the snippets shown are enough.

 

EDIT: In fact, I saw in one snippet exactly what you said - it was from a Photoshop contest.

It saddens me that kids are this mentally unstable that they take a silly meme and turn it into an excuse for murder...It is a bit scary to think that so many kids are suddenly killing people and mostly just because it's something they want to do....It makes me wonder if they aren't already mentally off balance, on some meds with serious side effects, or have just been hiding who they truly were all along....

Do you ever get the feeling like your living in a war zone?  Well that's how it is in my neighborhood.  Every day, morning, afternoon, evening, and early morning (1am, 2am, 3am) all I hear are police cars sirens, fire dept., sirens, a couple of gun shots.   The "children of destruction" who live up the street from where I live come down to my block sit out here (on a curb) sell their drugs, skateboard in and out the parking lot in-between the vehicles, ride their bikes on the lawn and leave their nasty tracks, throw trash over the bushes onto the property, cut across a small creek behind our homes and leave their booze bottles laying around and condoms.   And when someone speaks up and says anything to them, you can hear the cussing and swearing a block away!  Then they come back late at night early morning, (am) and damage property.   The police have been called a lot, but they can't do anything.  They are in my eye "children of destruction."  The parents are as nasty as their children.    So when destruction comes their way, I do not feel any compassion for them.   It is very obvious that Satan's time has been greatly reduced!  The rampage of his won-ton murder escapades are out of human control.  Only the Kingdom can remove him and his foul ruler ship!

I think a lot of it is that people are mentally unstable, and they don't get the help they need before they harm others and themselves.
