My Robin Williams drawing

In light of his recent death I decided to draw a Robin Williams portrait. I really love drawing and art, I just wish I had more time to do it, I really have to restrain myself as it can become a distraction form the more important things. I can't wait until the new world when time limitations wont be an issue and we can all reach our full potential in all things!

Wow! Very well done. I know you implied this is a hobby, but I can see why it might be difficult to keep in its place, as you are very talented, but kudos to you for being able to do that!

 

I am constantly amazed at the talented people in Jehovah's organization. Just look at the videos, the artwork in our literature, the clear, informative writing material we receive, our songs, etc. I am looking forward to exploring my creative side (if I have one ) in the paradise.

 

BTW, I was a big fan of much of Robin Williams' work, so I do appreciate your sharing that drawing with us.

Ross, if you hadn't told us that was a drawing, I would of thought it was an actual photograph!  WHAT A TALENT YOU HAVE!!!!  I feel bad for Robin Williams - I heard that PD and depression pretty much go hand in hand.  I think he might be someone that no JW would be able to reach with the Good News because of his fame, so perhaps he will find a wonderful new life full of happiness and a real feeling of belonging if he is resurrected.

It did cross my mind to offer my services, I have two kids so it could only be for select commissions.

But to be honest I don't think I'm good enough, I have a very slow mechanical technique, the bothers and sisters in Bethel art department have such beautiful fluid brush strokes. I paint like a machine compared to them.
