English transcript of January's JW Broadcasting

Brothers I need your help.

Do any one can help me with English transcript of January's JW Broadcasting. 

This week with few local congregation we plan to watch Jw Broadcasting January with translation to Ukrainian. I've already done 20 minutes of translate But more 40 needed to be translate. Translation from the text it's much easier for me rather than from the video.

I'm afraid I can't help you with the transcription, but hopefully someone else will.

 

In case no one has it, you can always ask what does the brother say in minute such and such, and you will receive help.

Well done Doroshenko. Its hard work doing translation. Ask your local branch office or translation office for help. They may have a way to help you more. Keep up the hard work and know it is appreciated by the hearts of your brothers and sisters.

You write by email a few interesting question I am sure others would like to know about so I am also aswering them here.

As I see here are two variants how to have transcript.

• the first one is when some person very fluent in English make it and share with other translators.
• the second is some how connect videostudio in Brooklyn and ask them share the program text.

So brothers what do you think about it?

And please share where you got January transcript?

 

And also brother Jacob highlighted the question regarding watching the Broadcasting with translate at KH

Only JW Broadcasting monthly program can be display at KH in original, english version but only in english language congregation. In this latter was, that we shouldn't display even a videos from jw.org in your language, for example "Become Jehovah friend's" in Ukrainian, for now.

 

We wanted display annual meeting 2014 in polish, but we didn't do this.

​But of course ​we shouldn't modify the videos from JW.ORG. But watching online and parallel translate it's can be done.

My answer:

 

Is a pleasure to hear that brothers are benefiting from the broadcasting all around the globe, I have also received several comments from differents brothers in countries that are using the subtitles I have made and translation in other languages.

In answer to your previous comment, till now I have been working alone (with the help of a sister of my cong in ocations) in order to make the English transcrytion and spanish subs in my area, I am from Panama.

Maybe mine are not the better subtitles but I work hard to make them the most accurate possible to the video.

Now, from this month on I decided to open the opportunity to others to join me and help me to make transcryption and translation faster an better, also making the video  available for watching online with subtitles.

Here is some examples and February one that I am starting, this month late because I have been really busy these days.

 

 

About the way of watching, in my cong I just have shared it with brothers that have their personal computers or for the ones that doesn't have a computer, I record the program on DVD and share it with them. at the KH we haven't watched any video of tv.jw.org just the ones Of Caleb that are scheduled for service meeting.

Thank you, with all my heart for this file that sent me to the legends of January of JW Broadcasting program. Though my language is Portuguese, our languages, and related, is allowing me to convert subtitles for the Portuguese. I'm very, very excited about it. Soon several brothers in our congregation can also watch the program.

It would be nice if there was some voice to text software that you could play the broadcast through to transcribe everything, and then you would only have to edit the document to note who was speaking.
