  HIGH AT THE END OF JULY

 

 

 

 

I was high for 7 days

I can only explain it in 1 way

 

When I close my eyes, I was seeing letters in blue

I'm not lying, it is true

 

I was at 2 places at the same time

I was not far from myself, that is fine

 

I was floating and I love this

It was something that I couldn't miss

 

One of my dreams was going backwards and several dreams were odd

When it was all over, it gave it a nod

I used to write many poems when I was a teenager (I have a little book full of them ).

But most of them are quite pessimistic and sad, because I wrote them during a very hard time of my life.

And actually, only 2 or 3 of them are in English, the rest is in Greek and German.

 

Maybe I will look for one of the few english poems to share it with you...

But I´m not sure if they are written in correct english

In The Twilight

The grass is damp.  Dark forms are still.

I hear the distant call of a whippoorwill.

The air is cooling, a sign of night, as I go walking in the twilight.

 

The river path narrows, covered with fog.

I hear the distant croak of a big bullfrog.

A star twinkles, a sign of night, as I go walking in the twilight.

The golden fields of wheat are grey.

I hear the distant howl of a wolf at bay.

The silhouette of a tree, a sign of night, as I go walking in the twilight.
