Bethel assignments

I enjoyed sister Jaracz experience in our current study WT, she made a comment about her duties while at Bethel

 

"While Ted cared for his responsibilities on the Governing Body, I worked as a housekeeper or in the hair salon."

 

Does anyone know what assignments the wives of the GB and Helpers have at Bethel?

I work in laundry with a branch committe member's wife, I iron the cloths, she folds the cloths.    No GB or helpers here..

Nice question. I think they are assigned different works to keep them busy just like other bethelites in the bethel home since they have no place in taking the lead.

Not just "to keep them busy".

Some are assigned responsibilities as well.

 

Three wives of branch committee members here at the Philippines have non-trivial tasks: One is a proofreader for publications, the other is assigned in translation, and the other handles LDC accounts.
