That's concerning for Freedom of Religion in Australia. She has quite a following of supporters too.

A lot of countries have this sort of political leader on the rise - USA has Trump, Europe has many ultra conservative politicians wanting to get into parliament.  She has been around for a long time, always biding her time in the wings....

I think part of the problem arise when Muslim communities want to impose sharia law in a country that has freedom of worship laws. Militant Muslim groups have tried that even in the USA. Christendom fears that even as they become more and more securarized.

This was an interesting statement from the woman who, during our recent elections, was talking up anti-vax, till she got slammed for it and had to back down.
