Whatdaknow, I am a prophetess:

Last month I jokingly posted that April isn't just the giraffe's name, it is the month we will finally get to see her pop.

 

On the evening of February 24th, I received a notification from youtube.  It said: If you want to see a giraffe giving birth, go to this channel right now and watch the LIVE STREAM.  

 

I had seen hundreds of cows giving birth, but no giraffes.  So, I foolishly tuned in to watch the baby giraffe being born.

 

I foolishly remained tuned in for the remainder of February...the entire month of March...and, yes, I am still tuned in in April.

 

This morning, the live stream was down.  I thought either April or her calf had died in the night.

 

But, when it finally came back on, the notice read: Watch April give birth today.

 

The feed now reads: April, The Giraffe Giving Birth.

 

And 227,000 of my fellow April's Fools are currently watching...and still waiting.

My second boss that I had, his last name was June. He said he wished he had a daughter born in April. He'd a named her: April May June. Thankfully he didn't have any daughters.

Actually I think your on the right track. I email "My friends call me Ross" and asked if she had her baby yet. She said: "Nope but she's acting bizarrely." Huh, I think we're the fools for watching/waiting. J/K

Actually it's like watching and waiting for a pot of water to boil .... a very large pot with a very small fire.

Well, looks like they had a vet check her out. Well, he just kinda sized things up gave a couple treats & walked  out. Hmmm. Pot must still not be close to boiling.

As one of April's Fools, I take a lot of ribbing from my relatives.  

 

Here is the latest.

This is supposed to be a picture of me, tee hee hee.

 

I died of old age, whilst waiting for the, now nearly two months overdo, birth of the baby giraffe.

 

My hubby calls April a goat.  He finishes the news and then hands me the TV remote and says, "There.  Now you can watch your goat."

Baby is healthy and on the ground, and already trying to stand up.

Haven't heard yet if it's a boy or a girl, but it has delicate hooves, so I'm thinking girl.

This was somewhat like me. Years after I was born, my mother told me about what had happened. She told me I didn't want to come out! I guess I was worried it might be outside my comfort zone.

Same here. I'm told I had multiple bruises on my head where the doctor used forceps to drag me kicking and screaming into the world, however at 9lbs 9oz I had apparently overstayed my welcome...
