Montreal has an English language newspaper? What language are other Montreal newspapers using? I was only in Montreal decades ago; can't remember what language was practiced.

Montreal is predominantly French, situated in the province of Quebec, which is predominantly French. The province to the west of us is Ontario and is mostly English. Naturally there is some spillover, as the Quebec population becomes more and more English as you head west toward Ontario. So, most other newspapers in Montreal are in French.

Okay, so it's very wet this week in Montreal, with rain almost every day. These showers could produce significant rainfall amounts at a time where river levels are high and the ground is saturated. Each significant rainfall could produce 20 millimetres (¾ inch) or more!

Yesterday was record breaking heat in New York, today is also unseasonably hot for spring.
