Facing a heat wave. Will try to keep  myself and doggie hydrated.

Central Louisiana, USA....at 0800 was already a HOT 80 degrees outside....heat index today expected to be 106 degrees!!  Letter writing today and telephone calling for this old sister!  I am so thankful to Jehovah for the provision of Zoom.  You never  miss a meeting and you can visit w/the congregation!!  Service days on zoom is such a blessing to me!    Spotty rain showers expected this afternoon.....will not cool things off....only sticky!  

 

Last week I was in w/the group in Central Louisiana, who had 30 inches of rain!!!  Property flooded but none in the house thankfully.   I did stay a few days w/my SO and his wife.  How thankful I was for that.

 

So many neighbors lost everything!  I do not ever remember having 30 inches of rain in one day and I can tell you, it stormed and stormed!  I often think of the wonderful, beautiful weather in the new system!  Bring it on please!
