Bethel uses two- and three-letter codes for each language, for English it's 'EN', for French it's 'FR', and so on:

When you are on the website's home page (using laptop/desktop) go to 'View Page Source' (Ctrl-U)

• view-source:https://www.jw.org/en/

Then look from line 13, and you will see one language on each line - below is a sample - note the hreflang tag, that is showing the 2- or 3-letter language code:

Unsurprisingly Bethel is evidently using the International Organization for Standardization Language Codes as contained in ISO 639, which is divided up into six parts:

Here is a sample list of 7,912 languages showing their 3-letter ISO 639-3 codes (and 2-letter codes, if applicable)

Thus, if you want, you should be able to, with a bit of text editing, be able to compare the list of 1,072 languages currently on the JW website, with the list of 7,912 languages in ISO 639-3

For the newly added language of Marwari, Bethel is using the ISO 639-3 code of 'rwr', that's interesting....

 

If you go the Wikipedia page about the Marwari Language, look down the 'Information List Column', and you'll see a heading for 'Language Codes'

Now, notice that Bethel are not using the generic inclusive language code 'mwr', but rather are using 'rwr' which indicates the Marwari language that Bethel is using here on the website is specifically the Indian version of Marwari.

As we have already ascertained above, for the newly added Marwari language, Bethel has so far only added a dubbed 77-second video in this new language.

 

I suspect this video is primarily for use by our brothers and sisters in the face-to-face ministry to play to people 'in-person' to arouse their interest, rather than while browsing the website.

 

Therefore evidently Bethel has, so far, not translated the website's navigational menu layout for Marwari - kinda not much point with just the one short video for content - but of course that may change as, and when, Bethel adds more Marwari content.

 

Of course that technically means that currently the website hasn't actually been translated into Marwari, just that a 77-second video, dubbed in the Marwari language, is available to watch/download from the website.

Apologies. I was jumping around the languages on JW.org, and getting confused.

 

Having checked, as I understand it, for the language of Marwari (language code 'rwr') there is no translated website, but there is downloadable content.

 

From the English homepage, selecting the 'Marwari' language, simply returns me to the English homepage

I believe that, if there was a Marwari translated website, it would exist below, but it doesn't.

• https://www.jw.org/rwr/

To access Marwari content, you need to navigate to the Library tab, then select 'Marwari' as the language - note that the /en/ near the start indicates it's the English website, while the contentLanguageFilter-rwr indicates it is displaying the available Marwari content:

You can use the above to display any language content, within the English website, if you know the ISO Language Code, ie:

• French: https://www.jw.org/en/library/?contentLanguageFilter=fr

• Kurukh: https://www.jw.org/en/library/?contentLanguageFilter=kru

Kurukh, a newly added language, is interesting as it appears to have just the one dubbed video, but two others are displayed below.... they appear to not be in Kurukh, but rather in KRH which I believe is Kurama.
