JW.ORG: 1100 languages and growing!

Recommended Posts

Well the Romany were originally nomads, no need for them to have a written language; that came with time.

Their language definitely comes from India; the phrases, the way it sounds, plus their features all indicate they come from India.

For centuries, because of their strange customs, and different culture, and way of life from the rest of Europe, they faced harsh mistreatment, even genocide.

Even today, many people in Europe still hate and fear them; the fact that their languages are in JW.ORG shows that God still values them.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
