The problem with gay people who are royalty is that they are expected to marry someone of the opposite sex, attraction or not. There’s been plenty of gay royalty in the past. As for Anglican ministers praying for the sexuality of a little kid, it’s none of their business.

Any day now...

Oh it's getting worse alright (not that we didn't know this already).  Notice how the Australian parliament reacted when one of the ministers proposed to his partner during the passing of legislation for same-sex marriage:

Mr Bolger was present in the chamber for the proposal and said "yes", prompting applause from all sides of politics.

...and we have an opportunity to escape it here and have normal conversations with our spiritual family, so why do we need to keep dragging in the filth that we left outside? We know it's there, let's leave it there.

It's ok, I get what you're saying.  Whatever praiseworthy thing there is.  Likely we will encounter these sort of discussions at the door, and then we can use this to segway to what the Kingdom offers instead, if any are out there sighing and groaning.

We don't want to get bogged down with the negativity and the bad state of affairs in the world.  But I don't think bringing them up for discussion is quite the same thing.

Another example and confirmation of this scripture:

Rev. 17:4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and she was adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, and she had in her hand a golden cup that was full of disgusting things and the unclean things of her sexual immorality.  5 On her forehead was written a name, a mystery: “Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the disgusting things of the earth."

They don't just tolerate it....they promote it!

Yes.  Promote it.  Had not really thought of it in those terms.

A strange subject for prayer!

The Provost vicar of the Cathedral in Glasgow wants the church to be 'more inclusive' so he suggests in a letter: "They do in England have another unique option, which is to pray in the privacy of their hearts (or in public if they dare) for the Lord to bless Prince George with a love, when he grows up, of a fine young gentleman.’

This is not the first time he has caused controversy. In January he invited a Muslim to recite from the Koran during a service at the Cathedral, with the passage including a denial that Jesus was the son of God.

Because this is the global news forum section.

We can also just stop talking about global news altogether, because 99% of it is sad, negative or debased.
