I didn’t know Jurassic 5 made music like this. My favorite song by them is a day at the races, mainly the last rapper’s verse. I wanted to post it in here but some knucklehead in the song said a bad word in one of the previous verses.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

Yeeah. I found them looking for music like this, I looked at their other songs but was not as keen. Haha. I still remember my brother in law freaking out because when I shown him this song as orginally the picture at the bottom said "warning, explicit language" and I had to explain it was reffering to the album as a whole, but not this song.

If there are any songs I like with language, I look for clean versions, if there are none, then I either edit them out myself manually, or look for instrumentals. A lot of the time it's the music I like.

The instrument you hear at the beginning and end of the song and that the musician is cranking the handle of, is called a hurdy gurdy from the 1500's. This is a cover of a blues song from the 1920's.

"The future's uncertain and the end is always near" --- Jim Morrison

"The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I thought I knew, I'm learning again" --- Don Henley

I really like this song. When you compare pictures and videos of Robert Plant when he was young to recent ones, it’s like you’re looking at a different person

Sunrise - Simply Red

The opening of this song sounds an awful lot like Hall and Oats song, "I can't Go For That."

Yes, he sampled the song. There’s even the woman singing lyrics from the song at 2:25.

Here’s something a little different. I first found out about this group in the early 90s with their first album.

White whisper - Deep Forest

Deep Forest - Deep Forest

Sweet lullaby - Deep Forest

Steve Winwood is very talented musician. Plays different instruments, sings and writes good songs. I like this type of song....not sure what to call it...maybe partly an English folk song?

kind of like “fields of barley” by Sting.

Jack, I think you’ll like this “The bass walk” by Maxwells Allstars.  It’s not your stereo-typical band....but they are good. I’ll bet you can’t keep your leg still. :D

Very retro! Sounds quite late 80's-90s. Reminds me of the old SEGA games I'd play on Megadrive (Genesis). And a bit like tracks in other games I've played later and arcades.
