Christian jukebox (good clean music to listen to)

The young man playing the bass is a brother. I think his name is Sammy Miller. The piano player, Joey Alexander, is a child prodigy from Indonesia, who can play any type of jazz and loves to improvise and compose without sheet music. Incredible!

The funny thing is when I was a kid I heard this song for the first time and had a dream that same night of blue turtles walking down a sandy shore towards the water lol.

The dream of the blue turtles - Sting

I was disappointed when I looked up the lyrics to my favorite John Mayer song and found out there was a curse word in it. I had no clue... I’ve ran into a lot of walls trying to post songs when I found out I couldn’t because of the lyrics :wall:Oh well... here’s two John Mayer’s songs anyway.

Why Georgia  - John Mayer

No such thing - John Mayer

Do you know where you’re coming from - Jamiroquai

Oops. Just realized I didn’t post the original album version. Doesn’t sound like a big difference but since I love Jamiroquai so much it makes all the difference

Jack , I like at least half the songs you posted. Many I not familiar with.

Here’s one I really enjoyed. Note prince at the end. Lol

features Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne (former ELO), Steve Winwood on keyboard,  George Harrison’s son and Prince.

“While my guitar gently weeps” written by George Harrison

Thanks for posting. Come on guys, we need more contributions :) great song. I actually think Prince is an underrated guitar player and think he’s great on the guitar, but didn’t care for his performance here.

Here’s a couple of songs by Gil Scott Heron. Both songs have references to drugs in them but I decided to still post them since they portray them in a bad light and talk about the negative consequences of doing drugs.

Angel dust - Gil Scott Heron

Home is where the hatred is - Gil Scott Heron
