JW Library freezing when clicking links to pubs

A sister contacted us with this issue. I have no idea how to help her, do you have any suggestions:

It might happen at times when you click a link to a publication that is not available yet.

If it happens, she can try to reinstall JW Library or clear its cache.

It happens to her with all publications, including the Bible.

How can she clean the cache in an iPod? (Or does she mean an iPad? I have no idea of Apple products.)

Once I had to restore my iPad to a factory settings due to few issues that I was experiencing. 

After the reset my iPad works fine.

Thanks for all the replies so far.

 

The sister confirmed it's an iPod Touch. She also told me she has uninstalled JW Library a couple times but the problem persists. She's going to try deleting the cache.

 

Anyone else has had good results / same issue with JW Library on an iPod Touch?

JW Library is compatible with the following Apple devices:

·         iPod touch 5th generation (running iOS 8.0 or later)
