Moving to a new server

Are there any optimizations to be done/tried?

Can you elaborate?

We made the move on Saturday, and everything worked fine until yesterday when suddenly the site slowed to a crawl and I was maxing out both my CPU usage and my Memory limits. I'm not sure what was causing the problem. Tech support noticed the server was using suphp, so he changed it to using the lsapi handler, which is considerably more efficient. This appears to have made a difference in server load.

I'm just wondering if there are any optimizations for thruput, or read/writes,  database structures/fragmentations/corruptions,  garbage collection intervals if any.  Load balance for front/back end.   Stuff like that.  At this point I'm just curious more so than anything else.

but not complaining..😃

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

If JWTalk emails tend to go to your spam folder, then add notifications@jwtalk.net to your contacts or safe list.

No JWTalk emails never go to my spam folder, only my Inbox.

But usually I get countless numbers of spam mail, that does go to my spam folder.

What I meant was, this past week the spam became less and less until now I'm getting basically none. I didn't install any new programs or antivirus that could be the reason.
