If you are referring to that small lock next to the web address, it means that the site is secure and encrypted.  https://www.exede.com/blog/encryption-little-lock-url-bar-means/

He is referring to the lock symbol used on JWTalk, as is shown in the screen shot he posted.

Oh, yeah. I never noticed that before. Okay, you've got me curious. What does the lock in the address bar mean?

When there's a lock in an address bar it means the site is https instead of http which means http-secure. A layer of encryption to the site to ensure security.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
