Combining Two mp4 Recordings into One?

Recommended Posts

Hello Nerds!  (i love you all, really.. 😉 )  ❤️

I video recorded a fantastic talk this past Saturday.  We had a Bethel speaker in for the Memorial talk and he gave us a special extra on Saturday with great illustrations.  I was recording with my phone and evidently went past the storage capacity of a single shot.  It started right back up but now I have 38 minutes and 14 minutes broken up.

Can any of you splice/combine it into one file?  Here is the link:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TcofbGP3jBvjk6KxvGUPkXMhaGdveqLs?usp=sharing  If you can help me, I would be so very grateful!  ❤️

Please enjoy listening to the talk, too - it is really so good.

Thank you for your consideration,

u.

I might be able to do it later if no one beats me to it. 😁

Go ahead. I already tried, and failed. I may be good at putting audio files together (like you), but I am not a specialist in video files at all.

I can convert them to mp3 and spice them but I'm not sure about doing mp4 yet...

my app will output mp4 ... I will see what I can do if they ever finish d/l :shrugs:

Yes, it does takes its time, doesn't it? The first file is 4GB. I think that's why her phone stopped recording. Storage media formatted in FAT32 won't accept anything more than 4GB for one file.

I hope your app can handle a file that size!

I am d/l them now - they are big files

I will give it a try as soon as I have them fully d/l

Thanks, yeah - it was a good ol' fashioned nearly 60 min talk (I miss those).  I've never tried to video something that long; this was my first attempt.  If another talk is that long, I'll know to stop it at the half hour mark myself then start it back up.  It will probably be a cleaner break.

Thanks so much to all you guys for your help.  It means a lot!  ❤️

it will be a while yet ... they are only d/l 25% each and have a bit to go

I will let you know when I have them d/l and then I will try to splice them
