'Famines of biblical proportions' feared in 2021 amid COVID-19 pandemic, UN food agency warns

 

UNITED NATIONS -- The head of the World Food Program says the Nobel Peace Prize has given the U.N. agency a spotlight and megaphone to warn world leaders that next year is going to be worse than this year, and without billions of dollars "we are going to have famines of biblical proportions in 2021."

Time to get seeds that will grow in our area for raised gardens or potted plants

It seems to be targeting low-income countries. Very sad. Though it may have a ripple effect and drive food prices or limit food distribution in richer countries.

 

I seek to find ways to be resourceful and plan how I can "substitute" foods if it weren't available, or transform stock foods into something similar. Also stocking up on powdered eggs, powdered potatoes and others foods will be the focus. Plus utilizing our garden more.
