Watch that among you there is no one who is sexually immoral.—Heb. 12:16.

Jehovah God hates all forms of wickedness. (Ps. 5:4-6) How he must hate child sexual abuse—an especially repugnant wicked deed! In imitation of Jehovah, we as his Witnesses abhor child abuse and do not tolerate it in the Christian congregation. (Rom. 12:9) Any act of child abuse is absolutely opposed to “the law of the Christ”! (Gal. 6:2) All that Jesus taught both by word and by example is built on love and promotes justice. Governed by this law, true Christians treat children in a way that makes them feel safe and genuinely loved. But child abuse is a selfish, unjust act that makes a child feel unsafe and unloved. Sadly, true Christians have been affected by it. Why? “Wicked men and impostors” abound, and some may try to enter the congregation. (2 Tim. 3:13) In addition, some professing to be a part of the congregation have succumbed to perverted fleshly desires and have sexually abused children. w19.05 8 ¶1-3

A child molester is subject to severe congregational discipline and restrictions. This should be done to protect the unblemished purity of the congregation. If he truly learns to abhor what is wicked, he will despise what he did and struggle to avoid repeating his sin, Jehovah can forgive him and hope to be counted among the righteous who will reside on earth forever.

Child abuse destroys lives for years to come to an unimaginable depth. Consider a wonderful little girl who grew up abused and grows up struggling to make sense of her life and has trust issues and fails to make meaningful connections with others and  tries to kill herself in her teens.  Some view her as a troubled attention seeker. Her life leads to a troubled and broken marriage. The negative effects on her once family and children echo for many years to come. All this because of child abuse.

The one showing favor to the lowly is lending to Jehovah

Just now, Ishaya said:

perpetrators of child abuse are usually very close and trusted relatives or family friends.parents should be on aware of that.

Just to add to that,i think a very common situation where child abuse occurs  is when both parents are working and have to leave their kids with someone else.

this danger really reminds us that parents need to realistically count the cost when deciding whether they both have to work when they have kids.

Before Jehovah brought about the flood he said in Gen. 6:5 that "every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time."  A sexual deviant can control his or her behavior but has a harder time controlling their thoughts.  When a passing thought becomes a dominate thought, the person becomes dangerous.
