Tawworth Highest Rates of Covid-19 in England

It would seem I'm living in the highest infected zone in England currently.

Tamworth has recorded the highest Covid rate week-on-week rise across the whole of England.

 

The Staffordshire market town has gone from an infection rate of 48.2 to 259.5 per 100,000 people after 199 new cases, according to the latest data from Public Health England.

 

The figures, for the seven-days to June 24, are based on the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in either a lab-reported or rapid lateral flow test, by specimen date.

Have they put you guys on lockdown? As soon as regions in Germany hit the 200 mark, those regions are considered hotspots and go into strict lockdown. My local region is 2.9 at the moment.

The country has been in and out of it, they lift lockdowns then bring them back again when things go wrong and infections get worse. Distancing and mask rules are still in place, but people can move about more freely now and are even going on vacations abroad and back. By July 19th, they are planning on lifting all restrictions (meaning the limits of how many can gather, mask rules and physical distancing).

Our borders are solid sealed, to the point that even Australians have difficulty returning to Down Under due to the hugely reduced cap of allowed returnees. 

Today Victoria and Queensland states called for further reductions of incoming international travellers. 

We can go (Victorians) to New Zealand though, without quarantine.

Wow! With 250+ Numbers?? Sounds like that’s a recipe for disaster…😷

Germany has controlled levels of loosening up with restrictions, and according to province. So in our area, the limitation restrictions go from incident numbers from 100-50, 50-35, and under 35 which is virtually back to normal daily activities, albeit with mask and social distancing. The rules don’t apply to those vaccinated either. The rules regarding  number of households allowed to meet, outdoors or indoors, businesses allowed to open, concerts, sports events, etc.

Even thou the rules will be lifted July 19th in the uk and we have to treat covid like the flu and use our own judgement there's no way we will go back to our KH and even if we did I still wouldn't feel safe in doing so? So the question is for everyone will we ever go back to our KH?
