I don't understand how some who don't believe in God or Jesus and the Bible still celebrate it.

They all "swim" in the same river, and the current is so strong (current-spirit of the world) that sweeps them all together in the same direction.

What gets me is how so many people in the world buckle under peer pressure. There’s many people who were raised in countries where  celebrating Christmas wasn’t part of their culture. Then they move to a “Christian” country and feel the need to do what everyone else is doing, even when it wasn’t originally a part of their culture. I just don’t get it.

its called conformity,

Does anyone else feel bothered at this time of year? It feels like the end-of-year syndrome—people get restless, the world becomes hectic, and I feel stressed by the pressure all around. I get very uncomfortable during these festive seasons.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling uncomfortable. It's understandable. We know the truth and it's painful to see how many people reject our loving father and his son and defame their names during this time of the year.

They simply don't know what they're doing.

Pretty soon the days will be getting longer and that's always a big boost. I'm in Michigan so it gets dark here depending upon the clouds around 5:00 then I'm ready for bed right about that time also 🤣🤣🤣

Its a family thing

no longer the religious tradition involved.

if you don’t celebrate you look weird.

now in Europe something is going on.
anti semitism and some empathy for the Palestinian cause is creating a distancing from the Christmas scene

For the first time some counties tell people not to salute with “merry x-mas” and say “seasons greetings “ instead.
Pope Francis has used a Palestinian cloth to wrap baby Jesus in one of the sceneries at Vatican … creating a big tormoil around the Catholics around the world.

we ARE definitely in times of change

Something ‘s gotta give soon. Very soon

It's the world that's why we're no part of it. They're on the broad and spacious road leading off into destruction. It's fun That's what the world is all about today. I can understand there's so much sadness and sorrow and and hatred in the world they've got to find some things to make them happy and this Xmas holiday makes them happy. They don't even think of the word Christ in the word anymore.

Palestinian Keffiyeh.   Too much controversy so that has been removed.

It may seem like fun, and there are parties and drinking and so forth.  But, overall, it's one of the most stressful times of the year.  Suicides will increase.  People go into debt, and for what?

Exactly!

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

I’ve seen that video before. I can’t relate to stuff like that. I’m not saying I’m better than those people, but I’ve always been a strong willed person (as long as what I want to do is morally upright). I’ve never been afraid to do something that I felt was right or voice an opinion, even if that thing or opinion was unpopular. I’ve never been the type to do something everyone else was doing if I didn’t want to do it or thought it was wrong.
Because I’ve always been this way, I find it hard to understand moving to a country and taking part in a religious celebration like Christmas when it seems most people who celebrate it aren’t doing it because they want to, but because they feel compelled to.

That's what they're going for ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT under the headship of the UN to be firmly in place by 2030. Of course that's what they would like. The UN General Assembly guy said we don't have time to fool around anymore because we are destroying the Earth and it's coming so fast..

Almost there. The UN though is going to have more power than the nations think.

Jehovah will put this in one thought.

Can I ask a question in regards to the AM? I just watched Brother Jacksons talk ( goosebumps!) With the new understanding of the "one thought" being a sudden act of God that signals the start of the GT and the nations collectively destroying btg, where does the cry of peace and security fit into all this as it wasn't mentioned? Do the nations make this declaration after all power is given to the U.N? I know to this point the signifigant declaration of P&S was the big sign we were looking for, that the world scene would have to be in a position for this to be believed by the masses but now that's not the case. At any moment, despite world conditions, Jehovahs one thought as brother Jackson said an " act of God" signals the beginning. Just trying to get some clarification to make sure I've got this right or I'm misunderstanding something.

Thanks 😄

They've not been vocal on that have they?

I, like you, am wondering, if there's a brief moment when the world thinks that because the UN is representing all nations, they will think either they have peace or its about to be peaceful.

Yes exactly....makes sense. Then the destruction of btg really makes people believe that we have achieved true peace

In the AM talk it is not clear if putting one thought will result peace and security. But the lesson is this, if it happens it is sudden and it will be the sign that the GT will start. Stay tuned for more update

Sometimes, just sometimes, I'm busy doing day to day things, and I stand still in awe ... we are almost done with this tired old world .... all you guys are my forever family ... (if Jehovah wills me to be there) ... we might be doing normal things ... but these are anything but normal times.

Like the Israelites... they got up that morning ... had whatever they drank instead of coffee ... by evening they were leaving Egypt. It's a wow factor.

My understanding....

The nations (with the UN at the helm) will be crying peace and security.. 1 Thes 5:3 ..

Then:

Jehovah's going to put it into the hearts and heads of the governmental officials to unanimously give their ok to the UN to ban all religion… Tribulation starts!

💥💥(My Side note) …Wouldn’t it be something if the end to the Israeli war had something to do with the cry of P&S… (the world is so focused on that war) I can see the UN all over that announcement. (Reminds me of Jeremiah 6:14 & Ezekiel 13:10 (they say peace, peace when there is no peace)

Then Jehovah puts it into their hearts to unanimously give the UN their blessing to put an end to all religion

TRIBULATION STARTS 💥💥
