There are four things converging on the UN:

The deeply-rooted systemic problems resulting in a financial collapse.

A new Secretary-General needs to be selected, acceptable to the security council plus 4 rotating nations.

Trump's new Board of Peace alternative.

Rev. 17:17.  Only by an act of God will the UN last long enough to carry out one final mission, destroy religion

Yeah interesting times with the UN here's another article from the bbc.

Who agrees with me?

Given where we are in the sands of time then I doubt you will find many who agree with you!

Or maybe you could give your reasoning on why you think this way?

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

The UN was the hope of the world, but now is viewed as an irrelevant, failed idea.

Feels more like within the next 30 weeks, for me. A major debt crisis is spreading to the whole world and the UN debt crisis is a symptom of it. Perhaps its only hope of survival is a certain thought.

officially, the revival already happened when it became the UN from the League of Nations. Or am I misunderstanding?

I was being clever, not literal.  "Born again" christians start hot but cool rapidly.  The UN's survival will be more of a death bed conversion.

I wouldn't be surprised if great tribulation will start this year.

Whether UN doesnt have or have money,  I hate this system that runs by money.

People go to war because of money(oil).

People dont read their bible because of money. Too busy to make money.. there's no money by reading the bible or becoming spiritual.

No one.

From Br. Winder's talk "Manifest Godly Patience":

"God is patient only as long as it is in harmony with justice, righteousness and wisdom. The fact that patience is exercised when a bad or provocative situation exists shows that it is meant to give opportunity for those involved in the bad situation to change, to straighten up.

When matters come to a point where it is seen that there is no hope of such change , justice and righteousness would be violated if patience should continue. Then God acts in wisdom to remove the bad situation. His patience comes to an end."

Government corruption in my country is getting worse . And people are dying because they cant afford proper health care, because its being corrupted by the government..... In this case, I dont think being patience is still a good idea.

And death is too bad to continue. Imagine being ripped apart by loved ones because of death. Its just not right.

I love that new podcast..

This system can be compare to a Candle. It was lit in 1914 and has been slowly burning, getting shorter and shorter until there is nothing left but a smouldering wick trying to stay alight. Just a flickering flame that will go at any minute.
I heard that over 30 years ago.

Jehovah is the best Mathematician, He knows the trajectory of this wicked system of things.

I completely agree. In the past, when I felt like the end was coming "soon" I realize I didn't have anything concrete to point to that justified my feelings - I was just ready for the end. But now, I see so many legitimate reasons why it has to happen soon.

I would actually be more shocked of the GT didn't start this year! I really, really hope this is it!

One thing I think about sometimes, is that these world leaders such as Putin, Trump, even Kim Jong Un, won't pass away peacefully. I feel like if they know they are going to die, they will do something nuclear (pun intended??)

I said the exact same thing 15 years ago (that I thought the system could go another 30 years). My family thought I was crazy. They said due to our new understanding of certain prophesies it would be impossible for it to go another 10. Well here we are 1/2 way to 30 years from that conversation. I was also taught when I was 7 that I’d never see high school because the end was coming soon. That was 43 years ago. 30 years goes by very quickly and in the grand scheme of things is no time at all. Yes we’re tired of waiting. Yes we all believe the end will come in our lifetime yet we keep having memorials for our friends who have died of old age believing the same things. Yes things are getting worse and worse. One thing is for sure. We’re learning just how patient Jehovah is and how much he wants all to attain everlasting life. We’re going to see how far he’s willing to go for his love and he never disappoints. We still can’t comprehend exactly how deep his love really is. It’s not wrong to imagine him being patient for another 30 years. It’s a credit to his love that he’s let it go on this long and we cannot comprehend his sense of time. All that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if the end came in the next couple of years. I also wouldn’t be surprised if I died of old age before the end. We simply don’t know and we don’t have the wisdom to even guess. Jesus gave us clues as to when it was nearing but we have a tendency towards wishful thinking and see the signs as if it’s literally spring and by summer the trees will be in full blossom. We certainly have seen the new buds growing but again, we don’t have the same time perspective as Jehovah. Plan for the system to go on past your lifetime. Live like it’s coming today. 30 years isn’t probable but it’s certainly possible with the depth of Jehovah’s desire for all to be saved. Just live like it’s coming soon and you can’t go wrong.
