I can't decide which is worse: having the GT before we finish the Jesus drama or finishing the Jesus drama before we can start the GT.

Well, the Slave said their intention is to finish the Jesus drama even if it's in the new system. So, there is that...

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

How about the Prequels?  When are those coming

After the resurrection so the original people can recreate their roles?

This is not the appropriate place, but I didn’t want to create another topic to talk about this. My 12-year-old cat passed away today and I am devastated. It is very sad to see animal suffering. What a feeling of sadness… I need to learn how to deal with this situation and be aware that I need to maintain a more balanced perspective about animals, but it hurts a lot.

Has anyone ever gone through the situation of having a pet for so long and watching them pass away naturally?

Honestly, I don’t want to get another animal to take care of; it is too much suffering. I will wait for paradise.

I'm sorry you're feeling so much pain, @Dhanyel. I think Brother  @Araujo JW would have something to say about this, and I hope I'm not overstepping by saying that.💛

Yes ... so many of us have experienced exactly what you describe. It's a deep and profound sadness.

On the day we lost our last pet, a sister happened to call not knowing what just happened. I told her it was one of the saddest days of my life losing our little "guy". She said something that initially hurt and seemed cold, heartless. But ... it worked for me, well, somewhat. She said "Don't think about it." So every time I started to think about how badly I missed him, I prayed and prayed to Jehovah to please let me not think about it. He helped me. Over time the pain subsided. This was my experience and even now as I type, tears well up. Please know you are not alone in your feelings. They bring us such happiness and comfort, don't they. It's difficult when they are gone.

My cats lived to 20 and 18 and my dog to 15, so yes I understand how you are feeling ❤️

And I've made the same decision, no more pets this side of Armageddon, simply because I would worry about them if I can't look after them during the GT.

To survive in this system I often prayed to not feel. Begged for it, and Jehovah answered. There's so much hurt in this world sometimes not feeling is the best medicine.

FYI, in the last 5 years I had 4 little dogs and lost all. Heartbreaking.  So to pray to not feel is a good coping mechanism for where we are.

My cat died right in front of me after several violent spasms. It was very shocking and it was difficult to comprehend that she was gone. I held her and pet her until rigor mortis set in and we went to the woods and buried her next to her brother. We decided no more pets until the New System because we feel a deep responsibility for their welfare and we can't guarantee their safety or want them used as leverage against us during the GT

I know the future will have endless animal friendships that I can't even imagine and I'm content to wait.
