In a farewell tone, Guterres, who will leave his post at the end of this year – he has been in office since 2017 – admitted that the organization is in crisis and needs to reform itself to reflect the current times.

I watched the UN press briefing from yesterday. 
The litany of world issues he listed off was incredible but not even everything going on. 
Right before he left he said, see everyone Friday if we are all still standing. I was like woah….they are worried.
He would probably deny he thinks anything catastrophic will happen but they also know all it takes is one nuclear event to kick off the firestorm.

For those of us who have room to stock up on food and other necessities, that is a good thing. For those of us who don't, we have brothers and sister who do and will share - Jehovah will take of the rest. Do what you can, when you can is all Jehovah asks.

I just bought the Xiaomi TV Box S off Amazon. I finally got it hooked up but can't figure out how to cast. Time to call a sharp minded brother to come help and bake him something special!

you initiate the cast with your phone first and then it will search for something to cast to and your tv box will come up and you click connect.

I have an LG smart TV I only need to cast if I'm watching the meeting on Zoom. For other JW visuals, I use the TV's built in browser and look up jw.org like on a computer. 

 

There are built-in apps for other things - Netflix, Amazon, etc.

 

I learned recently that Sony TVs don't have a built-in browser!😵‍💫 My son has a beautiful, big, sparkly TV but uses his laptop and HDMI cord to view Broadcasts, etc. So 2010s for him... 🙄😂

I do have a smart tv. Phillips Roku TV 65 inch under 1;year old. Just can't figure it out. So much I can't figure out. Its embarrassing. Now I have 7 remotes in my living room and can never find the right one. FP remote, picture frame remote for Kincaid portrait, DVD , a remote for a faux tree, the music remote and the tv, Roku, and Xiaomi! I'm to the point I need to attach them with a string to each device!

I wish I was nearby. Remotes are my jam.. and the Phillips TV is really so easy 😉 May be no need to wait for a brother- plenty of sisters know how to sort those things out, too! 

 

You won't need to find two (like you would for a brother's help) but you could still bake 😄
