Article "Three-quarter of Jehovah’s Witnesses and nearly as many Mormons (70%) say abortion should be illegal."

We have no opinion on what the law should day. It should read "100% of Jehovah's Witnesses had no comment" lol.

I'm not sure the writer gives the right viewpoint on Jehovah's Witnesses.

We all know and agree that abortion is wrong but we are not campaigning to change what laws governments make.

I was thinking the same.

I think the question from the pew research which they got their information from was worded in such a way that it made it difficult for a Jehovah’s Witness to answer correctly.

It was recorded by working out the % of adults who say abortion should be…

Legal in all/most cases
Illegal in all/most cases
Don’t know

I would of either not filled out that question at all or thought about Gods laws and put Illegal in all/most cases. However I don’t think with those computerised surveys you can miss out a question.

Micah 4:5 ......"we, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever."

John 15:13 "No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his life in behalf of his friends."

It would be interesting to know how the questions in these surveys are worded…Is it really the case that as many as 75% of witnesses say abortion is illegal or ”just” wrong? And even more, should this be interpreted as meaning that even quarter said abortion should not be illegal and/or wrong?

No matter how the wind howls the mountain cannot bow to it.

The Pew Survey that the OP's Yahoo article references would appear to be this one below, from 2014.

It has 51 pages of survey questions and answers listed by religion, including Jehovah's Witnesses.
