Michael said, because of all the deep quakes and 5.0+ s, 6.0 quakes would be popping up.

This quake originally came in as a near six, but then was downgraded to a 5.8.

 

Taiwan was hit with two quakes today.

 

This 5.5 struck just 3 minutes before the near 6.0.

 

Both occurred in almost the Exact same spot and both were just six miles down.  So there will be some major damage, and maybe even some injuries, or deaths.

Good thing this didn't hit on land.

The second relatively deep quake to hit in just the past couple of days.

 

Large deep quakes lead to shallower, even larger, quakes.

 

May they also strike out in the ocean.

This strong quake was also shallow.

Hitting just six miles down.

 

 

Michael Janitch is forecasting for some 7.0+ activity to follow in the wakes of those deep 6.0+ quakes.

Three 5.0+ quakes just hit off the coast of Oregon, USA, on the Juan De Fuca fault line.

 

 

Usually means increased seismic activity for the States.

This 6.0 was a deep one.

Which can, and usually does,

lead to bigger, shallower quakes.

Just to the east of Yellowstone and

north of Death Valley, and only 3 miles down.

 

Wonder if these quakes are leading up to something bigger?🤔

1300 + people reported that they felt it, so it definitely was not just a blip.

We texted some friends in the Reno area and they felt the earthquakes in the area but none of the friends were affected.

At least these last two strong quakes were not deep down or in heavily populated areas. 

Hopefully, the above 6.7 didn't cause a tsunami.
