Raquel Welch dies aged 82

Raquel Welch, whose sex appeal shot her to fame in the 1960s, leading to a half-century show business career, is dead at 82.

Throughout her career, Ms. Welch was publicly admired more for her anatomy than for her dramatic abilities.

 

But when she had a chance to show off her comic abilities, the critics were sometimes kinder. Ms. Welch won a Golden Globe for her role in Richard Lester’s 1973 adaptation of “The Three Musketeers.”

Sorry, these aren't my generation. I only know about Raquel Welch by name because she could have been in an old James Bond movie (but never did).
