Butterfly Effect

So, lets talk about the Butterfly effect... No not the movie with my teenage/early 20s crush Ashton Kutcher. But the idea, that the death of a butterfly can rewrite history.

 

For example, a wrong turn caused the start of WW1

I have a former coworker that was late on making her husband's breakfast, thus causing him to be late. He called her up to tell her that there was a bad wreck on the way to work around where he would have been if he had left on time.

 

My own personal story, although not as dramatic. I went to walmart a few years ago to get some wing dings. The ladies werent done with them so I decided to get some cat litter since that was on my list. In the middle of the aisle there was an older ladg struggling witb some litter her friend needed. Turns out she had dislocated a disc or something in her back (she had back problems and it was making the chore worse for her). We chatted for about 15 minutes, no one else showed up near the cat litter aisle in that time.

 

Another story of mine i just learned about a few months ago. My aunt was supposed to start a job in Vegas after my mom moved there from Buffalo in thr mid 90s. My aunt said her father didnt want her to leave so she decided to wait for information for another job she had applied to (at the same place she was at). Turns out, the job she tried to get was already given to someone else and they never told her, causing her to miss out on both opportunities. My whole life would have been completely different if my aunt moved to Vegas. My grandma would probably not have been a major role in my life because there would have been no point of her to move to Vegas with my aunt there. We probably would have still been in vegas. I probably would have been a showgirl for all i know 🤣.

 

So... Do yall have some fun butterfly effect stories? Do yall wonder if yiu have done X instead of Y how different your life would have been?

They are just chicken wings 🤣. I dont know where walmart got the term wing dings from though. But i love using it
