It's on the servers.

Is that the Canadian servers perhaps? (ha ha, tongue-in-cheek remark😊) They are not on the New Hampshire servers yet (ha ha, tongue-in-cheek remark😊)

The new original song in the broadcast is entitled Tell Them You Love Them. You will recognize some of the scenes in it; they're from recent Regional Conventions. Well, I converted the song into mp3 format for your dining, dancing, and roller skating pleasure! The song, along with its lyrics and the official song image, are wrapped up in a zip file archive in my Music Collection. Happy listening.

If you don't have the link to my Music Collection, send me a PM.

A very unusual situation:

IMG_3180.thumb.jpeg.dc8ad0a29399acae1213266486a00d28.jpegI haven’t watched it yet but I’m wondering if I should  watch these broadcasts simultaneously and check where are the missing 7 seconds?

Fun, all the versions I have show 59:54 seconds

I have never heard of the Patient Visitation Group before. How long has that been happening? It sounds like there could be a lot of overlap with the HLC.

At least 20 years..... for example here is the 2004 KM

My husband has been part of it.
The only overlap would be that these brothers ask the friends in the hospital if they have a signed DPA card and if there are issues, provide the contact info of the hcl brothers.
Their concern is just to ensure the friends, especially from out of the area, have spiritual encouragement. My husband usually prays with the person.
I used to be able to join him but they changed the rules and now the wives can’t go. ☹️. I don’t know the reason for the change. My husband always liked if I was there especially when it came to sisters. I would go in the room first to make sure she was decent.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

I think I was "aware" of this, but didn't realize it had a name or that it was distinct from the HLC.

If it makes you feel any better, 9 out of 10 of the ones he visits have never heard of it either. 😆

It could be for liability reasons or privacy reasons. If someone requested a visit from an elder, that may not necessarily indicate she wants to speak to his wife. And wives aren't held to other same standards of privacy, legally speaking, so that could be a factor for why they aren't invited - they may spread information about a Sister's illness that she doesn't want to be public.
