The Neanderthal Problem

Recommended Posts

Is it Neanderthal or Nephilim?

Maybe they really are different and it was the flood that took them all out, eh?

Since science says we carry Neanderthal DNA today, in going to say not Nephilim.

Hybrids typically are sterile. Mules are an example.

How large a sample size over how many years are necessary for a species to leave enough evidence to show up in the fossil record today?  It's not like every living thing that dies left a fossil.

Do they really have Neanderthal DNA? Or is that just posturing their position as who can contest it?

This article states a half-life of 521 years. https://www.sciencefocus.com/the-human-body/how-long-does-dna-last

How long does it take to make it unrecognizable leading scientists to become inventive with their opinions.

This article likes to throw around long time periods, but imagine the bones came from the humans escaping the rising water of the Flood and their remains have DNA not as old as they think. What sells better to the public? "This distant biological relationship suggests Neanderthals had a long-term presence in the Altai region, the researchers said."

Since Neanderthals were human and not some separate species, I'm going with yes, they have Neanderthal DNA.

We are all Neanderthals.

The entire idea that Neanderthals were a separate evolutionary branch is incompatible with the Bible. The fact scientists say we carry Neanderthal DNA supports the idea these Neanderthals were human. Fully human.  Species cannot reproduce with a different species.

Are they guessing what part of DNA is Neanderthal? Oddly they say Africans don't have Neanderthal DNA. They want you to believe that for what reason?

So, same DNA from mom / Eve's side ... Could still be Nephilim. That could be compatible with Genesis as a separate line.

Since the Bible is silent on most of this, who can say?

One of the points I was trying to make was we don't know how manr Nephilim there were. The fewer the number, the less likely it is any of their fossils survived for us to find.

The scriptures do not mention anything about their DNA. There is no evidence to support that Nephilim DNA was any different than human. There is no evidence to support the supposition that the Nephilim were genetically different in any way. In fact, the Bible does not even say they were hybrids. That's an assumption. It might be a logical assumption, but we lack sufficient evidence to support a conclusion.

We don't know how the demons pulled off being able to mate with human women and produce offspring. If those offspring, the Nephilim, were also fertile and capable of reproduction, then they would be genetically indistinguishable from natural humans.

In regards the supposed Nephilim being a separate species, this is evolutionary propaganda. It's a twisting of the facts to support their god-dishonoring theory. Humans are one species - human.  Or, if you want to use the biblical description, we are the same kind. The genetic differences between groups of humans do not create separate species. They are variations within the species. Just like dogs. Terriers and dobermans are both the same species - dogs. The genetic differences may result in variety of appearance and could pose danger in reproduction, but they are all still dogs.

These ideas that Neanderthals were a separate species that lost the evolutionary lottery and died out is fantasy. These scientists have latched onto a set of unique genetic characteristics and decided this is evidence of a separate species. This is the same thinking that fuels racism and the separation of humans into distinct groups based on a unique combination of genetics and ancestral place of birth.
