The power of naming a thing

Recommended Posts

  • “He gave Adam authority over other living creatures, even assigning him the enjoyable and challenging task of naming the animals.” — The Watchtower, January 15, 2014.

  • Insight on the Scriptures similarly says that Jehovah “granted to the first man Adam the privilege of naming the lower creatures.”

  • “Every family in heaven and on earth owes its name” to Jehovah God. (Eph 3:14, 15)

This is just noise. A distraction. Nothing to see here.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

There is  worldly expression "BMOC" (Big Man On Compas).

We have BBOC (Big Buffon On Campus).

Thanks,

Jim

P.S. I truly hope Shawnster is right "This too shall pass."

P.P.S. I know it will happen eventually, the question is will it happen while I am still around (now age 82)>
