Reminds me of a time I was on the bus and this girl got on and I'm looking at her, and thinking "I'm sure I know her, now who DOES she look like?!" I'm staring and staring. When she got off the bus my friend that was with me, turned to me and said "Did you see that girl, she looked just like YOU"...lol

I think we all have a twin / look alike somewhere. There was a sister in my circuit who people said looked like me. I thought she was beautiful so felt flattered but felt sorry for her! LOL! One of her friend's little girl, used to come up to me and grab my hand / hug me around the knees thinking I was the other sister, then look up and discover I wasn't who she thought I was. Haven't seen this sister in years as we both moved on... wonder if we still look similar.

I know the feeling.We have a brother in a local congregation that many of the friends get the two of us confused. I have then greet me at the CA, SAD or DC with his name and he has the same with my name. We often joke about it - and when we are standing there talking to each other people think we are brothers ... well, we are, but you know what I mean ... the fleshly kind (we aren't).

One day I was at WalMart pumping gas and a lady from the bank that is next to the gas pump area was in the lot handing out fliers from their bank (actually a Credit Union). She saw me pumping gas and asked how I was enjoying my boat. I told her I didn't have a boat and she looked confused and wanted to know didn't she help with my boat loan ... I told her she was probably thinking of xxx (I used his name) and she was amazed. I even mentioned his wifes name and she agreed that is who she thought I was. What really threw her was not only that I knew who she had me confused with or that I knew him and his wife, it was that, not only was he their customer, so am I - I also bank at that Credit Union.

A few years ago a man drowned his wife at their home in the backyard swimming pool. She worked for many years at a local grocery store. About a year later is when I started to shop there, I would check out the workers would gasp then apologize because they thought I was her. I was okay the first few times, but the more it happened the more it creeped me out...lol
