    The Bethel and City Tour company has essentially what I am looking

for. They will pick you up where you are staying in New York City and

then do a two day tour of Warwick, Walkill, and Patterson. However the

round trip is $90.00 for one day. Then $90.00 for both Walkill and Patterson. While I was pleased they will pick you up anywhere in NYC, I was a

little disappointed in the total cost of $180.00 for two days.

    By contrast the quote I got for a deluxe Greyhound bus from here in

Cincinnati to New York City round trip is $50.00. I was shocked at how

low the price was. So this is better than three times the cost of going

lest than a third of the distance. But if I can't find a better rate This is
still the beginning of putting together a workable plan for a vacation

like this.

    As I said on the forum, one I would get to NYC I can buy a Metro Card

for $30.00. this gives me unlimited travel on wherever the subway goes

for a week. I have found rooms for $50.00 a night. Perhaps I can do even

better that that. Where did you say you stayed when you were up there.

So with the cost of transportation, lodging, all I would have to figure is

the cost of meals and what ever I would like to see while up there.

    I'm hoping I can bring in the cost of this trip for around $600.00. So we

will see. At least it is within the realm of possibility. And that is an encouraging thought, to gain back my independence. Thanks again
