It's the most updated version, although I don't know the version number off the top of my head. It seems to be random. Sometimes the colors show up after I close it and open it back up, and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi, wondering if anyone has this same problem or a fix for it. I highlight something in JWL on Windows 11, and then tap it to add a note. On my iPad and iPhone, this causes the note I type to be the same color as the highlight. So in the study pane when I look at notes, I have a variety of red, yellow, purple, etc. notes all down the column on the left. For some reason, this is not happening on Windows. No matter what color note I select, it's always just a white background. Strangely, when I go into dark mode, the colors show up! But not in system or white mode. Another strange thing: when I create a backup and email it to myself, and then open it on my iPad or iPhone, the colored notes are there. But when I restore the same backup on the PC, the notes are colorless. The highlights themselves are whatever color I choose, but the notes are white. I have tried uninstalling JWL and reinstalling, rebooting PC, all to no avail.

I'm not understanding how step 3 results in all of these illustrations, quotes, comparisons, etc. being put under the "illustrations" tag. . .

Is there a way to add the tag "illustrations" to all of these notes at once, like in bulk?

Hi! Will this be in English? I signed up for the tour, but then was taken to a page that was all in Dutch, I think.

I'm just thrilled that now I can click on the meetings tab on my iPhone from the homepage (like on the iPad) and not have to click the 3 dots thingy before navigating to it like before. I just wish they'd let us highlight in the study pane! My guess is that because the study notes are constantly updated, the highlights would move around too much. Every time we get the elders' book updated, they put in a little note saying that highlights may have moved around a bit. . . .

Has anyone been using JW Library on Windows 11 yet? I'm thinking about upgrading from Win 10, but don't want to break anything. . .

Also, as an aside, it might be good to remember that per branch direction public speakers "should not project any moving video footage on screens or monitors unless directed to do so by the organization", with the exception of sign-language meetings. (This is in the direction provided to elders regarding visual aids in meetings.) Some newer public talk outlines provide an accompanying video clip or two. But we otherwise shouldn't be using videos in our talks. Edit: Whoops, didn't see the above comment for some reason. Must be going blind! Apologies.

This is one thing I haven't been able to do yet. And I can't understand why Zoom still doesn't allow you to manage breakout rooms from a tablet or phone yet.

In my experience, I can only see bookmarks when I'm in the actual publication itself. Excellent idea, thank you!

This is a must-have app. Excellent tool, especially if you have an Apple Pencil.

Does anyone know if there is a way to "favorite" an article that you link to from within another publication? For example, in today's daily text, I clicked on the Watchtower article the comment was drawn from. It was a tremendous article and I wanted to favorite it. But there is no way to do it other than memorizing the month/year of the issue, going to the "publications" tab, clicking on Watchtower, searching for the month and year, then favoriting it. I'd like to just favorite it without having to go to the publications tab and searching for it.

Quite strange. On iPhone 12 Pro Max, it's not side by side on portrait mode but it is on landscape.

There's also an iPhone/iPad app called JWLM in the App Store. I don't think it's the same developer. But what I like about this app is that once you combine the backups, it will tell you what conflicts there are (highlighter color differences, notes, etc.) and let you choose which one you want to keep.

Also, if you have an iPhone, there is another process that's a little tedious but still gets the job done pretty well: 1. Download the app "Just Press Record" by the developer "Open Planet Software". I can't remember if it costs money or not (I've had it for several years). 2. Download the app "Media Converter" by the developer "Junjie Ruan" on the App Store (Again, don't remember if you need to pay.) 3. Download the audio version of the video you want. If there is no audio version, go ahead and download the lowest quality video version. 4. Using "Media Converter", convert the file into M4A (AAC) format. 5. Import the converted file into "Just Press Record". 6. When you click on the file in "Just Press Record", you will see a little icon that looks like a dialogue button. Press it, and it will begin transcribing the entire file!

Personally I was very excited when I received the gold physical Study Bible, but I never use it. I always am writing notes in the digital edition, and I use that for my personal study. I feel a bit guilty about having ordered the gold edition. I excitedly wrote my name in it, too, so it's not like I can give it away.

I have the same setup, with a nice Dolby Atmos surround-sound setup. It looked awesome with the upscaling. My wife and I could also feel the rumble with the subwoofer turned all the way up. I don't NEED 4k, but it would be awesome if that was available. I'm sure the masters were all shot in 4k; color grading and editing is actually easier with 4k footage because you have more pixels and contrast/highlights are easier to manipulate without having to worry about blowing things out of the image.

Nice! We've been having the aforementioned crackling issues during song playbacks as well. Perhaps this will fix it.
