COLD!! 🥶 Just got up to 40F this afternoon with a windchill of 33F 🥶 Wore my winter jacket this morning to take Bandit for a walk.

Got the results of the sleep test. No sleep apnea. But oxygen level dropped for a total of like 76 minutes. Got the call today & they’re referring me to a Pulmonologist/lung doctor. The lady said I have to have oxygen at night. 😳😵‍💫 I hope I remember to ask if my mild exercise induced asthma has caused my lungs to weaken. Er, something like that.

Br Joel, a sister told me just today that all she had was something like your picture. This really helped me better understand what she was talking about.

o yes that was the only question I felt a REAL need to ask 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They had the room set up with an intercom & the nurse said just speak loud enough for me to hear and I’ll come and unhook you. she just had a couple things to unplug and I dragged 🤣🤣🤣 the rest with me. it’s gonna be a long 2 weeks to wait for the results.

Back in April I picked up a sleep kit that I wore for the night. The results came back that I stopped breathing a couple times and my oxygen dropped to 88% one time. The kit wasn’t designed to figure out if one had sleep apnea or not so… I went to the hospital last night to do a sleep study. Good grief, they put sticky patches wires) everywhere plus had 2 belts put around me. One to check how the chests rises and falls and one around the abdomen (?). Felt like Frankenstein coming to life, when the nurse was taking all the patches and wires off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, what started all this was I questioned something on my bloodwork. The doctor said it was a symptom of sleep apnea, I’m trying to figure out why even tho I sleep well at night, I still feel exhausted when I wake up. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has had to go thru something like this to get answers. Sorry for the long post.

Well, here in Ross’ and my area of the U P of Michigan we just got the alert that they changed the Winter Storm Warning to a Blizzard warning for early tomorrow (Sunday) morning till Tuesday morning. Actually, it’s for the entire U P. Some areas could get up to 4 feet of snow. Not exactly sure where but probably the far western parts of the U P. Would never know it as today we have beautiful blue skies and full sunshine. Needless to say we’ll be having our meeting on zoom….that is if we have electricity. Forecasted winds up to 60 mph.

O and when the warning expires tonight (Tuesday) at 7 pm then we’re under an advisory till 7 pm tomorrow. The way this winter has been going they’ll either extend it or upgrade it. 🙄

Been watching a storm chaser down in Plymouth Mass. all day. My goodness! It’s gonna take forever to dig out. Here in the U P of Michigan it seems like we’ve been under weather advisory’s or storm warnings or even blizzard warnings all winter. The advisory ran its course for today. now for tomorrow we’re already under a winter storm warning. UGH! I am boycotting winter. I won’t be seen till August. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I went on my search engine and couldn’t find the cause. 🤷‍♀️ Looks like it’s still under investigation? I could be wrong.

Actually we’ve had a sunny day today. 💃💃💃💃💃💃 I’m hoping it’s not waiting to hit us over night…like it usually does. Watching Storm chasers down in Lower Michigan. Snow in some places is coming down pretty good but NO blinding blizzard there either. 🤷‍♀️

Yes, we are under a winter storm warning till tomorrow at 7 pm. We didn’t get much over night tho at least not here by the lake. I think Ross got more than we did here. I am not ready for this.

I saw that too. Yeah, I definitely stay home on holidays. Not only for that reason but because people are NUTS.

Went thru that with my dad. But he had Alzheimer’s and could never figure out how to get home. It’s definitely not an easy thing to do. Especially if they are still really independent. An (90+) elder’s son had to finally take the car and keys. They would tell them they couldn’t go to other towns to shop. Next thing one of the friends would see them in the store. What I sometimes think about and makes me chuckle is this is the same elder who always said: “If you’re driving and swat a fly, get into an accident and kill someone you are bloodguilty.” Apparently, that thought wasn’t for a 90+ individual. 🤣🤣 This can be very scary.

Actually I went to our search engine to see what I could find. I found a couple Booker Miller in TX but not Houston I found 2 Bob Beam, in Yucca Valley, CA. One is 85, & one is 106

I finally had it with the ongoing awful back pain I’ve been dealing with…. for years. I always blamed it on my scoliosis. But the past few years shoveling snow has been getting harder (very painful lower back). So I finally saw my doctor about it yesterday (the 10 th). Took X-rays and got the diagnosis last night. Keeping family tradition, (Dad had rheumatoid arthritis) I have a form of arthritis in my spine. Or as they call it: “Facet Arthropathy”. Haven’t heard from the doc yet, so I’m wondering what his plan will be. I am not looking forward to any injections in my back if that’s what he plans. 🥺 One of the explanations was: “Multilevel degenerative changes of the lumbar spine, including moderate disc height loss at L5-S1, mild disc height loss at L3-L4 and facet arthropathy throughout the lumbar spine.” I think this also answers my question as to the reason my neck snaps, crackles and pops at times.

As of Friday, the town where I live, the Circle K is still $2.99. But the one about 45 Mike’s away was $3.09.

Imagine what we can learn about those tiny creatures in Paradise. We’ll have all the time we need for that. And yes, I am gonna enjoy that too. And finding something to comment on is much easier too.

I was on keto for a year and a half some time ago. All numbers were great. Then unfortunately I stopped. I don’t remember why. For all I know it could been financial reasons. 🤷‍♀️ Good food costs more than my budget allows

For the past week or so we,ve been under either a winter storm warning or advisory. Our storm warning changed to an advisory till 7 am this morning and now has been extended till 7 pm tonight 😬😬 I only did the back path this morning and will have to do the driveway a little later. O well, with the kind of weather they’re having down south I really shouldn’t grumble. But the path’s banks are so high from throwing snow, I have to heave it over or have to pick it up a second time 😡. The first time is bad enough. is bad enough. 😤. 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Here in the U P of Michigan the Circle K (used to be Holiday) gas prices have been $2.99 since late last year. I think I heard one of the friends say they dropped to that price after the election.
