  1. In Greece we have a well known Greek singer-songwriter and musician of Romani origin who's a brother. "Kostas Hatzis" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kostas_Hatzis
  2. Enjoyed board games since a child! Thank you all for your recommendations. Some are in my Wishlist. I really enjoy Catan with friends. Any other recommendations?
  3. I really like this thought from the "Pure Worship" book: Think of that future. Ahead of you is a life of rewarding work and enriching friendships. Never again will you or your loved ones need to suffer. On your own merit, you will stand before Jehovah completely without sin. Every person will have an unrestricted friendship with God. And most important of all, in heaven and on earth, pure worship will be carried out in perfection. That will be the ultimate restoration of pure worship! link
  4. Not an app, but I really like using the link: site:jw.org/en [insert a subject] to find images from our organization relating to the subject we are discussing about with the interested one, or the study.
  5. Is it possible to have a trailer for our convention? 🤔 I hope so at least! 😂
  6. Wait... 😅 I didn't know you can download the subtitles from a video. Can you please do a step-by-step of what should I do? This would be very helpful and useful to me.
  7. I personally liked this image from our Bible's Appendix helping me understand the distance and the road Jesus traveled the day before. And some comments on today's reading: It helped me see how sometimes worldly people may treat us 'nicely' and even show 'appreciation' for us, and that's okay. But we should remember that in the end most are the ones that will turn against Jehovah and eventually against us, just like they did on Jesus. Although he was welcomed with branches of palm trees and praising him; these are the same people that later on hanged him on the stake. It's good when people 'honor' us; but it's not something we should pursue!
  8. Exactly what I was thinking this morning reading the daily text and the news. Keeping our dear brothers in prayers but also for those who will be giving guidance and instructions to them. 😥
  9. Exactly my thoughts on this Brother Joao. Jesus indeed prophesied that at the conclusion of the system of things, there would be prestilences. (Luke 21:11) But we (our organisation) don't do predictions like these. Our magazine just quoted another magazine...
  10. Give us an example of what you are trying to point out and we will help you :D

  12. Hello Bro. Richard! Would like to share with you about Cain and Goliath: Why, though, did Jesus connect Abel with “the founding of the world” and not Cain, who was the first such offspring? Cain’s decisions and actions amounted to a willful rebellion against Jehovah God. Like his parents, Cain does not appear to be in line for resurrection and redemption. Imitate Their Faith p. 16 on Paragraph 5, the footnote. That's quite unlikely as well for Goliath to be resurrected. I mean, think of what he did. He chose to taunt the army of Jehovah, basically taunting Jehovah. [In taunting the armies of the living God Jehovah, Goliath sealed his own doom.] (Insight on the Scriptures, Volume 1 p. 984) 1 Samuel 17: 45 David replied to the Phi·lisʹtine: “You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin,+ but I am coming against you in the name of Jehovah of armies,+ the God of the battle line of Israel, whom you have taunted.*+ 46 This very day Jehovah will surrender you into my hand,+ and I will strike you down and cut off your head; and on this day I will give the corpses of the camp of the Phi·lisʹtines to the birds of the heavens and to the wild beasts of the earth; and people of all the earth will know that there is a God in Israel.+ We also know that, with Jehovah's help David killed Goliath: [David slipped a stone into his sling and swung it as hard as he could. With Jehovah’s help, the stone shot out and sank into Goliath’s forehead.] (lfb 98-99)
  13. Hmmm... that's very interesting... (writing that while eating bread with nutella....
  14. So basically a disfellowshipped one appealed this because he thought it was not fair? Right... Jehovah has already set his ''judges''. Jehovah is fair, they are fair. [6] Randy Wall became a member of the Congregation in 1980. He remained a member of the Congregation until he was disfellowshipped by the Judicial Committee. [7] Mr. Wall unsuccessfully appealed the Judicial Committee’s decision to elders of neighbouring congregations (Appeal Committee) and to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Canada. After the Congregation was informed that the disfellowship was confirmed, Mr. Wall filed an originating application for judicial review pursuant to Rule 3.15 of the Alberta Rules of Court, Alta. Reg. 124/2010, seeking an order of certiorari quashing and declaring void the Judicial Committee’s decision. In his application, Mr. Wall claimed that the Judicial Committee breached the principles of natural justice and the duty of fairness, and that the decision to disfellowship him affected his work as a realtor as his Jehovah’s Witness clients declined to work with him.
  15. This is already happening tbh. Think of the Middle East countries, like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran etc... Yes, they have not opened the gates but they were ''forced'' to leave from their country. But hey, still it's a great chance now for them to know the truth. Here were I live we have many and many refugees from these Countries and not only (f.e. Africa as well) more than 6000+ for sure. Hopefully as you said, a peace treaty happens with N. Korea as well and these people get to know the truth and not only... oh boy... how many things they have to learn...
  16. I've always had the thought that if they did not actually sin, the people we see today would've been our brothers and sisters, that love us and care for us. Unfaithful family members, friends, random people on the streets, politicians, bad rulers and in general bad people (such as murderers) etc, etc... you get the point. It's sad, isn't it? P.S. That way you can imagine how important people are for Jehovah God and how much he wants them to be saved.
  17. Just had our assembly! Such a wonderful program and very very encouraging! (Don’t Give Up in Fulfilling the Law of Christ!)
Had the demonstration in the afternoon program the: Fulfilling the Law of Christ at School.
    It went very good! :uhhuh:
