We have a sister whose '20 something' son is "somewhere" in China. That is all they are allowed to say. Her daughter is a pioneer in Cape Breton, Atlantic Canada.  Father is not in the truth.

The daughter wanted to go to South America but C.O. recommended east coast.

Something else to consider in this discussion is Jesus words that "this good news of the Kingdom must be preached

FIRST, and then the end will come. " - Matt. 24:14. Weather some now in China can view the Societies website, we

now have only conflicting reports. There are currently at least 1.35 billion people living in China. This make it just a

little under 1/5th of the world's population ( 7.1 billion ). And yet Christ assures the preaching will go on until Jehovah

sah says " it is enough" ( compare Revelation 14:15  ). So how does that figure in the overall oomplete fulfillment of

that prophesy ? Only time will answer that. But it is something to comtemplate as we discussion the possibility that

China may stand t the point of being opened up for the "good news" to be completely preached in her territory.

I had ever got one study from mainland china, and she told me that she knew the truth when her senior in college ask her to open jw.org, she opened it as she's christian and she got many questions about life...

After surfing jw.org, she filled the form to study. She was contacted by a sister in Hongkong since she was living in Guangzhou, which is very near to Hongkong. The sister conducted the study by skype, as my ex-student told me.

So, I believe the site can be opened there, and I also know one sister who moves there, never heard that our site is banned or something from her.

But, truly facebook can't be accesed, I went there for travelling, and cannot open facebook...

I have a friend that went back to China to visit Family for a few months. I will ask him as well. It is encouraging that brothers and sisters are making inroads in China. Maybe one day we will see that country open wide up. Jehovah willing one day.

We have a dear friend that spent 2 years in China. When we asked her about her experiences there she said the government knows Jehovah's Witnesses are there. It knows everything and the friends call it the sleeping dragon. It could swoop down and strike at any moment. The work that is done there is very low key and she asked us not to ask her about any details as the repercussions could be disastrous. Yes, she was in contact with Bethel and is now a Need Greater in Mexico. They stay at our house when they come to the states.

It it pretty interesting of hearing the reports from China and it growth. Brother Henchel brought out over 10 years ago that it is possible that the witnesses might come in the back door of China and that is what I'm seeing. Also, in the 2014 year book, brings out that there is almost 26 percent increase in 30 other lands that is banned. Most likely that increase is in most in China.

If that Dragon is sleeping so let it be, but that dragon cannot stop Jehovah.

Took him out for lunch today. I am so going to miss him while he is gone over there. I feel like I am losing a little brother. I took him to the post office so he could send his learning permit extension in. That way his student visa will be extended.

Ivy Tommy just read this whole thread and said to send his love and "Ni Hao" to you as well.

Oh... So his name is Tommy... Tell him that we love him :givehug: and came back soon...   :encourage: Join spiritual activities there if it is possible   :bouncing:

Btw, Greg... you care a lot to your study... I must follow your example....  I had a study from China too, and she came here to serve as voluntary Chinese Mandarin Teacher... I think I have ever mentioned her before... She back for few months to China then came again and we continue the study... What I want to say is I am not that worried and seems like I don't feel any lost like what you feel... I admit I am ignorant and careless...  :(  :(

Good job Greg! Your study must be very proud of you, having you as his bible conductor...  ><img src=<'>
