Skin Care and Make Up

Recommended Posts

I have extremely sensitive skin and can only use La Roche Posey skin care items, thankfully they last ages. I wear little or no make up...to be honest I just can't be bothered !

Gregory, either you're not married or more interested in staying single in this system because I'll tell you right now - one of the things that will attract you to a sister is her beautiful, glowing, healthy, clear skin that covers her beautiful, glowing, healthy spiritual condition!

I have learned several things here.

1.  The $17.00 bottle of olive oil I bought may not go to waste after all.

2.  Skin care is almost as complex as mixing chemicals in the lab.

3.   I am quite possibly a man.

I do have one question, any idea how to get rid of skin tags without having to visit a dermatologist?  I have one on my right eyelid that annoys me.

I know here in the states there is a commercial that shows on T.V. for a product that comes in a small brown bottle that removes skin tags that you can buy at any store that carries "as seen on t.v." products (like Wal-Mart). If you have the internet do a search of "skin tags + as seen on t.v. products". Depending on the size of the tag and how squimish you are, nail clippers will do the job too (sorry, I'm one of those people who would gnaw off my own arm if I had to!)

Happy to know that your olive oil gonna be useful, Sharon... And, I do agree about what you say of skin care... It is complex and may different one to another though they may have similar skin type... I also think that make up is almost as beautiful and creative as art do...

And, surely you are not a man...

Don't you like to see your wife make up herself modestly?

She does it when I am not in the room. She doesn't bother me when I shave so I don't bother her when she puts her war paint on LOL

Hmmm...I have heard of using dental floss or string to tie them off, but I'm not sure that would be a good idea if it's on your eyelid!!

  • 2 months later...

Tip of the lashes is the very end of the lash.  You have bottom and top of lashes (just like the bottom and top of everything else) You normally apply mascara on the bottom of your lashes, some do it to the bottom and the top.  Hope that clarifies things a little.

Brigette!! I finally bought a curler few days ago!! Can you please clarify the position where to apply my mascara? I am truly confused with what you say about tip top bottom underneath, etc... :perplexed:  :perplexed: Please, help me!! :help:  :help:

Ditto Sharon! How is the pioneering going?

Satan's thrown a couple things at me, I'm short my time for the first week - so I have to really exert myself this week coming up.

I have had a couple more work assignments pop up than anticipated for the month.... figures eh?

Sharon!! I miss you...  :givehug: I didn't see you for some time...

Brief sabbatical, I wasn't sure I was going to return.   I'm still not sure I'll stay, I'm weeding out things that fritter away my time and streamlining things.

Great... Wish I know where to buy coconut and castor oil in my country... Surely cannot find it in supermarket...

I am sure we have those, but traders import them to other countries

Sis go to www.bulkapothecary.com you will love the site, carries a lot of organics I order from them, the products are reasonably priced.
