Are you about to buy a new car?

Recommended Posts

My youngest son had a KIA Rio 2002? which wasn't the best. Replaced engine at 93,000 Km ( 56,000 miles ).

A brother who is moving back to our WT Bdg, bought a KIA Rouge? and got terrible gas mileage, maybe the driver or just a lemon.

That was back in 2002 ... Wrong era to buy Kia , different story in 2015

Nope to a new car. I just put $2,751.72 into repair of my 2003 Dodge PU. It has to last me till Armageddon. I know it's a truck and not a 'service' rig but any who know me know I'm a truck girl, I haul stuff. Let me get a sister and we'll meet you in the territory!

Just bought a 2013 Kia Optima and love it! We test drove the Optima 2 years ago and couldn't believe we were driving a Kia and that the Optima won the car of the year award that year, as well. I had always thought of them as a junky disposable car like Hyundai was in it's Pony days. How things have changed in a few years. Standard features which you only see in luxury cars also helped in the decision making. And if I keep my foot off the turbo, in Eco mode I have averaged between 50 to 55mpg.

We have owned a Kia Forte (5 door) for about 4 years. Favorite field service car ever!

I'm still looking for the 'perfect' field service car. I'm looking at the Ford Flex but I haven't decided yet.

In our congregation the service car is a truck so you can pile all the brothers in the back. :)

Do you have enough seat belts for everyone?

Wouldn't want anyone to fall out as you roll over in the ditch while having your head turned to yak at them in the back.

I have driven the flex. We like the Chrysler Town & Country for a service car. The 6 passenger vehicle is in high demand in the service groups is one of our reasons.

We took a 1,500 mile trip and had an average 30 mpg. Was pleasantly surprised.

We don't buy new cars, used only, prefer to pay cash and be done with it and have no payments.

Currently our cars are a 2003 and 2006, still going lol.  We keep them til they die.  We use to buy new cars, but got so tired of the car payments.  Our last car we bought was 4000, and have had it for almost 3 years.  Looking for a used car for my daughter right now and it will be a cash car.

I hate owing anyone money.

LOL...I have a 2003 dodge ram...love it!  Hubby wants to get rid of it!

But I drive it to KH - only can't go out in service in our area with truck!

I do need a new car though!  It will not be a new one though!  I just pray it is not a lemon.

I love trucks!!!
