Everest movie

Recommended Posts

Anyone seen this movie? I have no finger nails left after watching I was so nervous!!!!! I cannot believe what ppl go through to climb this mtn - the dangers are utterly insane!

Apparently this cost to climb ranges between $30-40,000!!! Crazy what ppl do in the name of adventure.

We watched it a while back,  Denise says she would like to climb like that some day. .I, on the other hand,  have no desire for that. ..

It is not the height,  as I worked as an iron worker for years,  and have actually jumped out of perfectly good airplanes. ..no, not the height. ..

Did you happen to notice all the white stuff layin around?....yeah...nope.

:sunshine::sunshine::sunshine:that's better,  got a chill there, just writing that :sunshine::sunshine::sunshine::sunshine::sunshine::sunshine:

I concur, even foggy days send me back to the warm bed...

I enjoyed this movie too.

I kind of spoiled it because I had already read about the story and knew the outcome, but even so I enjoyed it. The scenery is breath-taking. When I read about the ascension it impressed me that there are lots of bodies lying all along the route, and climbers have to walk around them.

Hiya bobby!..

I cant really speak for you but I can guess you wouldn't like it. Too many very cold scenes. It will make you shiver just watching it.

Now, a movie I would recommend?  'Endless Summer '...:sunshine:

In the New System, Jehovah willing, when I can run through fields of long grass and flowers in bare feet, I might just take a stroll up that mountain.

All that white stuff on beams and decking, ng. We have to contend with that in winter

I saw part of the movie ... it seemed a bit slow - maybe I will give it another try but I have seen a few other climbing movies
