Which continent are you in?

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

This is Alaska. :)

Place called Hatcher Pass; it can snow here thru July.

The pass usually doesn’t fully open until between June 15-July 4; then closes around October 1st. So it’s only open about a couple of months out of the year

Alaska is on my bucket list. I thought it might be there but wasn’t sure. 😊

For once, hardly any cloud, hence no rain and no blustery winds as well.

However, it is only 6am and the day has only begun.

In case you are wondering, that ain't no sun. "Its a brit nit lis nit" (Scotish accent)

It's cold here 10.30 in the morning and 5% centigrade. A damp, penetrating cold today.

So, for those of us who still use the sterling system, that would be 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thor's Day.

EXPLAINED: The Gods Behind The Days Of The Week

Thursday was “Thor’s Day”, named after the Norse god of thunder and lightning and is the Old Norse equivalent to Jupiter. Thor is often depicted holding a giant hammer and during the 10 th and 11th centuries when Christians tried to convert the Scandinavians, many wore emblems of Thor’s hammer as a symbol of defiance against the new religion

I didn't see the movie 'Thor'. Now I see the connection

108 forecasted. I think we hit a little over 100 degrees.

There’s a fire up river, and we had some smoke today. Not bad enough to make your eyes water, but , if you can smell it, being outside without a good mask,  bad for you. And your lungs.

And who on this earth wants a mask on, when it’s 100 degrees out there?

We have no air conditioning, (fine with me) so, it’s fans and two air purifiers. One upstairs, one downstairs.
I went upstairs to study my WT. Back downstairs I came. 92 degrees. Sid said it will cool off. We shall see.
Overhead fan, going, stand up fan, going, and the air purifier, going.
Supposed to be the same tomorrow, then a cool down.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
