Unexpected witnessing on tv

Yesterday we were watching a TV show where a reporter travels around the world trying to find Spaniards who live abroad and interview them. She talks to local people, goes inside their homes, tries their foods...

 

So yesterday she was visiting in a slum in Cuzco, Peru, when two young brothers came doing street witnessing. Their dignified appearance made them shine among all the filth and litter. The reporter approached the younger, who was around 10 years old, and asked what were they doing. Our young brother, unimpressed by the camera, replied they are Jehovah's Witnesses and are discussing the Bible with their neighbors. Then, before the reporter could open her mouth, he said: "I'd like to know your opinion about this scripture", opened his Bible and read Genesis 2:24. Then he explained that, according to those words, God's purpose for husband and wife was to became a single flesh. But sadly many marriages today end in divorce. Then he offered an Awake! to the reporter and said: "This magazine explains how to solve problems in your marriage instead of resorting to divorce." The reporter was absolutely open-mouthed. She took the magazine, promised to read it and thanked the brother. Then he said "My name is Damián, what's your name, in case we meet again?"

 

It was a perfect presentation. Congratulations to that young brother and his parents, who obviously work hard to train him for preaching!

Beautiful experience, and how far reaching it was on camera and microphone..how proud his parents must have been for him, and also his heavenly Father Jehovah. Out of the mouths of babes...

I found this video excerpted from the show (of course it's in Spanish). (By the way, the little brother's name is Dorian, not Damián. I didn't remember it well )

By the way, I just learned that this Dorian is the same mentioned in an Awake! article. There's even a picture of him :

Dorian, a youth in Peru, South America, gave his first student talk in the Theocratic Ministry School at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses when he was four. When he started secular school, he was able to explain to his teacher and his classmates from the Bible why he did not celebrate Christmas.

This was when I was an unbaptised publisher:

I was very new and was assigned to work with a young brother, perhaps 11. At a door the brother offered his polished presentation and the householder paused, looked at me, and said “He’s doing very well isn’t he?” I just laughed and agreed.
