Donald Trump announces US pulling out of Iran nuclear deal, reviving economic sanctions

US President Donald Trump has announced he is pulling the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal, in a move set to upset America's European allies and disrupt global oil supplies.

"In a few moments, I will sign a presidential memorandum to begin reinstating US nuclear sanctions on the Iranian regime.

Russia and Iran are already buddies, but as confrontation between the United States and Iran escalates, the country is finding itself further pushed into an alliance with China and Russia.

Since intervening in the Syrian civil war on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad in 2015, Russia has generally turned a blind eye to Israeli attacks on suspected arms transfers and deployments by Assad’s Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah allies.

Russia is a passive buddy.

Russia looks after herself first, and will not jeopardize "motherland" for the sake of " a buddy"  (Just my imperfect view)

It will be interesting to see how this is fulfilled as religious nations seem to align themselves with the RF

If only the United States pulls out, I wonder how much this will really hamper Iran.  They can still get aid and support from the other countries.

 

Interesting the KotS is divided on this.  US pulls out, UK stays in.

This will be the real questions right?

 

So much banking is controlled by the US. If the "sanctions" include sanctioning any company that does business in Iran - well, with all the multinational businesses - that would create quite the freeze in any investment in Iran - except for those business that don't bank on the world market, but rather in the "other" markets. China and Russia have been trying to get that “other” market moving, but it really hasn't taken off at all - not enough money there.

 

We’ll have to see what those sanctions are and how far ranging they are.

If the US and UK are divided on the issue, then it is really a non issue.  

 

The KotS would, by definition, be united in all major decisions.

This Iran issue is in development. In time, the whole thing may fall apart, or the UK could follow suit.
