My first, coming home from the meetings and looking at the heavens, and thanking Jehovah, as I walk to the house.

Singing song 111, (actually accompanying) by myself, in the car, while being in the car, and loving what I see. Jehovah’s creation. (We live in an area nationally recognized as a destination, because of its beauty) and that beauty can bring me to tears. I sing to my hearts delight.

Oh, one more for now. Petting Hop-Along, our three legged kitty,  having those trusting green eyes look at me, purring away.

My favorite foible. Grammar!

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!

Cute name for the kitty..😁

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

First time to visit New York in October 1998.  Two sisters took me.  Had been baptized one year.  Was learning, seeing, doing so much.  Was standing in the Metropolitan Museum of Arts looking out over Central Park.  I was thinking about a painting I saw in one of the WT buildings of Central Park loaded down with animals from Noah’s Ark.  Was thinking about what that I might be like in the future when a piano rang out, so hauntingly beautiful  and a mans voice sang Andrea Bocellis ‘Time to say Goodby’.  Tears sprang to my eyes and goosebumps filled my arms and scalp! It was an Ah Hah moment that I will never forget!  So much clarity was overwhelming me what our lives were intended to be like!  Every time I hear that song?  Same feeling!  Thank you Jehovah!

Two moments:

In 1986 I was en route to Nigeria. We spent a couple of days at Brooklyn HQ's.  I was getting a haircut at the Bethel barbershop when Daniel Sydlik walked in. He asked me where I came from, where I was going and what sort of work I do. I told him I was a flooring guy on the way to Nigeria. Then, in his booming voice, he says "Well, put a decent floor in there, will 'ya?"

The other moment was 18 months ago. I gave the memorial talk for my mother. Never experienced the power of holy spirit like I did that day.

When I achieved the goal to move in a foreign land for preaching, at least for few months, after a couple of years of preparetions and simplifying our lives. I remember I was in my new environment and I was feeling like the football player who scored from the centre of the stadium in 90+ minute and won for his team the european Champions League cup. Amazing feeling. I'm looking forward next winter to return back!
