oil pulling for teeth...

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I have a quick question

Have anyone here tried oil pulling to help with their teeth?

If so how has it helped you with your teeth and general dental health...?

I may be tired and in pain :wheelchair: but I'll never   :surrender: to it just send some encouraging words or hugs  :kisscheek:  :encourage:  and I'll return the same   :kisscheek:  :encourage:

Well, tests done shown that replacing tooth brushing with oil pulling, caused "more bacteria" to be in the mouth, so it doesn't do much. The reason being is because people just swish around the oil in the mouth and then just leave it, or spit it out without washing thier mouth out afterward (as that is the practice).

So common sense really, because you're not cleaning your teeth, you're just smearing something on it and leaving it, the same as using toothpaste and leaving it without washing your mouth out afterward with water.

I have used coconut oil for "brushing" my teeth however. But oil pulling alone may not be so good.

I do oil pulling off and on. My brother who is skeptical on anything I suggest will do the oil pulling as he sees the difference in stopping tooth aches.

ive noticed the same that if a tooth starts hurting I’ll start up with the oil pulling again and the aches go away.
then I always rinse after because of its ability to cross blood brain barrier and pull toxins- I don’t want that in my mouth lol.

also once my husband was doing oil pulling once and fell asleep and swallowed it. Well he was running to restroom almost immediately- so yep rinsing definitely a plus

So I rinse really weL and then i brush With  just a sonic toothbrush And good to go
